This will go one of two ways. We'll either get an email/mailer direct from Ford Canada telling us the same thing within a few weeks or we'll hear crickets and it won't be available to us. Ford Canada seems to be a little behind the US, so I'm guessing they're often "surprised" by announcements...

So I tried everything suggested in here, including disconnecting the 12V battery and even another "secret dance" combo involving putting the car in accessory mode, tapping the brake three times and watching for the battery light to blink on the dash and it made no difference... same update kept...

I do have a dashcam and OBD adapter, but the update fails when both of those are unplugged, as well. I took a reading of the 12V battery before the most recent failure and it was at 92%.
