Just got the 6.5 update yesterday. Notes say it makes improvements to the heating system, but they don't say what they are. I'm just curious to know if anyone noticed any difference, especially if there's any reduction in energy use.

From my experience, the glass roof is not as cool as you'd think it is. It's not a problem heat wise. It's darkly tinted so doesn't capture much heat. However, from the front seats you don't even notice it exists. The opening is over/behind your head so you rarely, if ever even look through...
On a tangent here but has anyone ever had the GoM go into negative numbers? 😜
On a more serious note how does it respond when you get down to really low numbers, say 11 miles left and the algorithm wasn’t totally accurate? Does it keep recalculating for the fumes left in the battery and...
I'm considering changing tires on my RWD Premium from the original Michelin Primacy set to Michelin Cross-Climate 2 on the premise that they may handle snow and ice better in the winter. I only say the Cross-Climate because it was recommended to me by my local tire shop.
The Primacy's don't...
Will do. I'm super impressed Ford is even active on this forum. Emily was the contact and she came up on the PM immediately. She logged a ticket with a Customer Experience Specialist on the EV Team. I don't know what that means, exactly, or what kind of technical expertise that taps into...
I may have described it - it wasn't a skid but a hard brake to a stop. But the wheels and gear knob did completely lock up at some point. The rear wheels dragged when the transport driver tried to pull it up the truck ramp.
One would hope there is an interlock preventing that from happening, backed up with a fail-safe control response, but I don't actually know (and I hope to never find out)
Hell if I know. It all happened so damned fast I'm not sure what actually occurred. I was a bit preoccupied with not getting smashed from behind and figuring out how I was going to get out of that situation. It's an interesting question, though, as to what the fail-safe mode is.
Well, yes and no. Now that you put in that context, it's just a "close window" icon, which does make sense. The first time I ever noticed it was when I was frantically paging through screens in the middle of the incident, so, in that context, it looked more like a fault icon. Having seen...
Well, only because I hadn't seem much email traffic about recent updates and there was no message on my app about anything recently.
On that note, the Ford app showed the car was fine throughout all of this.
