Enquiring minds want to know: Is Lil Pone meant as a description, name, or both?
if not necessarily a name, I suggest Rainbow Dash, Applejack, or Rarity as appropriate options for your consideration.
But why Applejack isnāt red like your awesome MME, I cannot say:
FWIW, Iāve found inexpensive dcfc charging in greater MN - namely in cities with their own electric utilities or that are served by independent electric coops. Last month in Hutchinson, for instance, I added 150 miles of range for less than $5. But I agree that being able to access Tesla...
Iād get the car. As others have said, there arenāt other EVs to be had - at least not anywhere close to the GTPE, your vehicle will be fixed before delivery, and I wouldnāt really call this a true safety recall. Itās important, yes, but the car isnāt going to burst into š„.
I honestly think...
I took my frugal - no, cheap - parents out in my MME the other day and they both said they could tell this was a whole different level of vehicle. And my mom - who has always been happy driving a Jetta and then basic Civics into the ground - suggested to my dad that they think about getting...
Re the picture, exactly what questions do you think someone might have about free charging? āHey, are you giving us the dirty, weak electrons?ā š
Happy Fatherās Day to you, as well!
I think @GreaseMonkey and @Monke (coincidence?) have the right idea here. If the dealer is reasonable, theyāll see the win-win of giving you a nice ICE or hybrid loaner (Escape Titanium Hybrid, for instance) plus a big chunk of gas money for the summer. 50% of the penalty would be awesome but...
As I see it, absent the EV tax credit, the comparable ICE price point for my Premium AWD SR would be in the low-mid $40s. Would maybe need to drop to high $30s to account for ICE fuel / maintenance costs. Think about all the great ICEs available in that range.
I love my MME but if EV tech...
Well, thatās ironic. My cover (in a 2021 Job 2) falls into the trunk if you just look at it funny. The eyelet loops are very tight but the plastic rods and clips are far too loose.
I found the flimsy OEM cargo cover fairly easy to ignore through the winter and early spring but now that Iām using the trunk much more frequently, Iām more annoyed by how it keeps falling off.
Forum folks have indicated the first gen AOSK cover wasnāt quite ready for prime time. But what...
Oh, and maybe longing for the days of manipulating grimy gas pumps, and having to go into the store when the card reader was broken - if thatās your thing. š
Last evening, waiting at a stoplight, I noticed a shiny new F-150 at the front of the line, a few vehicles ahead of me. It then took off suspiciously quickly and I knew I had to try to catch it. After a few blocks of speed racer, I pulled along side and got very some positive first impressions...
I knew they were just chintzy plastic stamp outs - like most car badging - but when you actually feel how cheap they are, youāll be especially glad to have ditched them. Besides the obvious aesthetic reasonsā¦
