That’s exactly the reason why I asked because they don’t(atleast for me), the car sees them and I’ve clicked that option in fordpasswhich allows the car to start without shore power but to no go. The funtion has worked at some points in the past 17months but never consistantly so I always...
It also doesn’t help when there are alot of sources which contradict each other. For instance here in Finland the MME was advertised with the WLTP rating of 410km for the SR RWD. I initially thought it’s bs, however around the time I placed my order one Norwegian study was published in which the...
Does this update actually fix the departure times so that they work without charger connection? I’m using 4.21 and the only time they work is when the car is plugged in…
I’ve also noticed that if you have both the fob and paak-enbled phone with you it might cause a ”clash” between them when opening doors which means that you might need to push the button couple of times to get the door to open(and of course some waiting after pushing the button)
That seems to depend on the person driving, because for me(and some others too based on their comments) the GOM is almost spot on. In the past 45000kms ’s it’s always been about 10-15km less than what I’ll get out of it if I drive it to 0%. The only instances this hasn’t been true is when an ota...
For me it was simple maths, here in Finland diesel is about 2.1€ per litre and with the amount of driving I have to do we end up in a situation where I get the MME for ”free” instead of just buying diesel for my old bmw. So in my situation the lack of certain physical buttons is purely an...
You have to open the a-c panel from the right side of the volume knob, it will pop up and there you’ll find the e-heat button, rear window warmer etc.
I think a good way to do it would be to combine those controls to the wheel so that at first you press one category you want to adjust and then just spin the wheel to do the adjustment.
And on the topic of hackers using f150 remotes to access the frunk, we here on the old continent have that...
Now this explains why some people get so much better milages than I do as I always have the e-heat on and the temperature set on 22’C(72,5’F) no matter what’s the time of the year.
Anyway this morning MME gave me a perfect change to test the heater as it decided to ignore my departure time...
After one year and about 23000 miles of driving I can say for sure that you wont be seeing those epa or wltp ratings unless you drive a lot in cities at slow speeds. In real world with ac/heat on and all the niceties in use(and having an average speed of 50-60mph) you’ll be seeing about 75-85%...
Been driving my RWD SR for about year now, and lately I’ve been wondering if I happen to have a unique condition in it. The trouple is that maybe once in three times when I sit at the lights waiting the car keeps jerking contantly in about 3-4sec interloops. The jerk feels like it’s trying to...
It’s behind a small removable piece of plastic in the rear bumber, behind it there’s a nut to which you can screw the towing hook. Unfortunatelly this seems only ably to cars shipped to EU :/.
And it’s definatelly something that’s not easily retrofitted either :(.
If you have set up preferred charging times and your preconditioning doesn’t happen in those times it will eat the battery instead of using the plug(because the car thinks it’s not allowed to do that).
