My real world experience....
I had the windshield recall and the new one by a "Ford Installer" was crooked.
I had a stone hit my windshield and State Farm used Safe light who ACTUALLY used spacers and put it in straight.
I go with the company that does more and that was NOT the Ford dealer. I...
Clear the app data and start over. Make sure there are no keys listed in the vehicle (forget where that's at). You will need to login and start over. I have had decent luck for 2 weeks until last night where the app refused to connect to the vehicle but the display showed me as connected.
I do...
I have to say I am very impressed with the Ford PAAK Team! They really rocked.
I sent them my log reports while we were on the call so we could talk about what went on.
First, clear the app data and cache, I only did the cache so it did not clear an old key out. This will log you out of the...
That didn't work. I get as far as the "Setup PAAK" screen, press get started, a popup flashes (can't ready what it says), then it goes back to the main screen of the app. I'll see if I can get a video when my wife is home.
I'm a computer geek & a programmer.
I was able to set it up last year but it didn't work well. I'm going to clear the cache etc. Not sure why I didn't think of that. It's my first go to.
Ruby was at the dealer for some updates etc so I thought I'd give it a go again.
I deleted my phone (Android Auto was wonky anyway).
I re-setup my phone, then tried multiple times to setup PAAK. Yes, the car is running.
The app originally crashed, now it just gives a white screen, pauses and...
I don't care about any of these. I just want the damn thing to work. I had my screen freeze on New Years day. It took 5 minutes for it to reboot and work SLOOOOOOOOW. Had to pull over, shut the car off and turn it back on again.
Mine has been doing this lately. I guess it's time for a dealer visit. Maybe this time I can get them to update the rest of the modules they didn't do last time.
This is the equivalent of you stopping me pumping gas into my Trans Am when it hits 10 gallons and deciding that I didn't need any more fuel.
Her car was still charging so you don't touch it. If it was done, then that's fine. Otherwise you must wait.
