I get that message every time a door is opened if the car is in reverse (and stopped - of course) . EX: My wife gets out of the car as I am preparing to back into the garage.
I assume I get that message because there isn't an error code to warn you about backing up and ripping the door off...
This is an untested assertion, but perhaps your charging schedule interferes with you update schedule.
I had the same problem, until I did an "Install Update Now" in the middle of the day. both my charge schedule and Update installation schedule are set to start at 11 PM.
Not proof of...
I never change the air in my tires based on mileage. doing it seasonally is more important - winter air is different from summer air - just like gasoline blends.
Parking assist is a "feature" on my 2021. I was kind of excited for it, thinking it wouls help my wife get the car into the garage without a panic attack and/or parking by braille.
I tried reading the manual, following the instructions, testing, reading, more, testing reading more, testing...
In July I saw the official announcement that Bluecruise 1.3 is coming "soon". We all understand what "soon" means in Ford-speak.
Now I'm receiving messages saying my Bluecruise subscription expires this month, but there is a "special offer" for 2021 Job 1 owners like me. "Only" $600 for 3...
By "Wanted to roadtest" between Friday and Monday, does that mean the service manager took your Mach-e to to his nephew's out-of-state wedding so he arrive in style?
You asked Anyone had a recall letter over this? Haven't heard diddly squat.
Yes. I received a letter dated November 2023 fpr Safety Recall Notice 23S56/HHTSA Recall 23V687
Not all vehicles are impacted, I recall. I'd check your online account, I confirmed it shows on my account.
The results!
I indeed ran out to the garage Monday night, and changed the time as suggested. Just to make sure a low 12V battery isn't delaying any possible upgrade (reported to be a common reason for delayed OTA packages) I also connected the 12V AGM charger.
I went back to the house with...
Corrolation does not prove casuation. That a well understood concept.
But that doesn't mean dozens of us aren't heading to the garage right now to try it out ;)
Why is no browser reasily available? My bet is revenue...
Consider that Google paid Apple $20 BILLION last year for the privlidge of being the default search engine on iPhone, I imagine there is contracting to be done here between Ford and the browser titans before you get to a browser easily...
If its a rental - talk to your landlord before doing any DIY electrical work. Even if you knew what you are doing. Many landlords will legitimately terminate your lease and evict you immediately if they find out after the fact that you did any electrical work.
The local/state electric codes...
I keep my phone in the wireless charger space - because, as you say, that's where it belongs. But, I usually have connected via USB. That seems to keep the phone charged without overheating and makes Android Auto more reliable. There may have been Sync updates that have fixed the old AA...
I used those too. BUT in the cold, they were very hard to remove becasue the retainer tabs that flex out of the way during insertion/removal was very stiff. I cut those off and they are now easy to remove, but don't come loose, fall out etc.
My only caution - some other threads suggest you...
How often do we hear this about a "new" update recently? Too often!
It seems that sombody must have a job goal to post an OTA update every X weeks. Too bad their goal doesn't actually define the nortion of "update" or make it clear reusing updates with the same release notes but assigning a...
WOW! Having solved the frunk button problem, what's next for you? I hope you find a new purpose in life and don't just rest on this momentous success.
For the rest of us, we'll have to wonder - was it just to shut up Jim? Will the rest of us be so blessed some day? Do we have to pick up...
MY SIL had an ever worse experience 2 weeks ago - when she flys here (Boston) to visit she uses some discount rental car booking program - she gets whatever car the rental office needs to unload, but she gets it cheaply. Sometimes she gets a pickup truck, or subcompact, you just never know...
great - I will be able to BlueCruise through interstate turns and lane changes. But the bigger issue issue the bad math in the annual subscription fee.
$66/month for the BC subscription is more than many owners spend on the KWh to operate the entire vehicle for a month. It's ten-times the...
