I donāt believe it for one minute and wonāt until itās in my hands.

I would not be surprised if we donāt get this for several years, if ever.
OP, your first mistake was thinking the Mach-E is capable of doing road trips. The CCS network needs to die a quick fiery death.
Second mistake was not setting up plug-n-charge (if I read your post correctly). I made the exact same mistake near the start of my Mach-E ownership journey.

Iāve seen posts in other threads where a few people said theyāll consider paying the $800/year after they get a chance to try BC1.3. At the core of it, itās still SAE Level 2 ADAS. You still have to watch the road. Level 3 is where you can do something while the car is driving. There is no...
I have no idea how people are seriously contemplating spending $800/year for this. Level 2 ADAS isnāt worth anything close to that price. Level 3? Maybe.
Iām really critical of the Mach-E but I think these guys are full of crap. Nonsensical comparison, undervaluing performance, tech, quality of interior, lower cost of ownership, etc.
Ford needs a swift kick in the nuts for the Mach-E. Some of their observations are accurate, but most of it is...
Iām thinking itāll be similar to the frunk button timeline. Weāll get the BC1.3 update in 2 or 3 years. And Iām not trying to make a joke. I legitimately think thatās the most likely scenario.
Edit:
To be clear, being late is perfectly fine if itās for safety reasons. However, communicate with...
I have a ā22 Premium LR RWD. Getting to the local mountains in Los Angeles means roughly 210-230 mile range. I like to hike and mountain bike. Not sure how other vehicles fare in this regard. My buddies Tesla Y needs a charge before getting home. I can just charge to 95%, get to my destination...
Iāll believe it when I see it in my Mach-E. And Iām still not subscribing. The price is ludicrous for a level 2 ADAS. Level 3? Yes probably worth it. As it is, nope.
Pre-conditioning doesnāt work for me. Iām on the update that came after 4.2.6. Iāve set the Ford Nav to a EA station about 30 miles out. Got to the charger and got a whopping 55KW charging speed. And it was 70+F outside.
Iām not sure how else to interpret what he said. He literally said:
āWeāre going to ship adapters to everyone who has bought a Ford EV so this isnāt just for the future.ā
If they were going to sell the adapter wouldnāt he have said something along the lines of:
āWeāre going to make an adapter...
