These plates took almost 13 months to arrive thanks to pandemic + lost digital application (?!), so I missed this thread. The abbreviation works for the car and my name (not Pony).
You are on to something with your theory. I also feel a corollary theory is that Ford wanted those early buyers who become more comfortable with EVs and early adopters like us to trade up to a mid-size SUV with more true utility features (towing, better ground clearance, off-road handling) as...
This is great news! I hope my turnaround time is similar. Yesterday I had a problem opening the front driver side door, so I know this is a real problem not just a SW issue on my MME!
I really hope the next generation Mach-E OR even starting with the midlife refresh includes a towing package. Itās silly that less competitive (IMO) EVs like the ID-4 have towing capacity and roof racks while Ford doesnāt offer this as a factory standard or optional package. Itās almost like...
Crap. I was told last week, the earliest appointment they have is tomorrow morning. Thanks for the reminder about a loaner. I reached about to FMC on this forum, I will ask them about this as well. That would be a nice change from 2022 when no dealers had loaners available.

I just got this same error on my 2022 MachE a few days ago. Checked here to see if I can ignore it, so looks like Iāll be spending my day off without an car. Only my fifth service since purchase. Still love the car, butā¦
So this means that MY24 MachEs in high level trims (Premium, GT/GTPE) will
NOT have the sequential front turn blinkers? Sounds like another cost saving move. Very disappointing. I love my MachE, but seeing this decontenting makes it even more likely that I may need to find a new EV SUV brand...
If you canāt bend your way to the front - use FordPass (if working š and in non-inclement weather ) to lower all of your windows. Then you can use the outside button to open the rear door.
source: me, this is how I got of the rear seats when I was by myself after taking a nap.
2022 CA RT1 RWD Job 2 and Non-EA.
I just got 6.4.0 this afternoon. Installled in when I got home this evening. Itās still Tuesday in the West Coast, based on the update message the Ford server must have an EDT time stamp.
Agreed! What would be a smart move by Ford would be:
1. Come up with a āplusā version of the MachE, like GT motors In a premium, with a standard tow hitch, front tie hook and low-scale tow rating;
2. Everything in #1 but lifted with a couple of additional inches of ground clearance and a...
Yeah, thatās true but not necessarily the right answer. After 9+ months of waiting and getting the same āwait for verification lineā + the āitās 2021 and we are still recovering from COVID restrictionsā, I finally found a DMV chat representative who understood my delay was beyond normal waits...
I know some MachE owners in the 2021 to 2022 era sold their pre-MachE vehicle or 1st MachE when they upgraded to Shift for a good returnā¦

Iām very upset this feature has been removed. It could have helped me win an appeal of a parking citation.
@Ford Motor Company when can we expect to see this feature return to FordPass?
(and for the rest of you, I donāt mean āComing Soonā¢ļøā)
This evening I was stopped at an intersection wanting for a green signal with my foot on the brake pedal as I had one pedal driving turned off. Suddenly the MachE started jerking slightly back and forth like it wanted to start rolling. As Iām in California, my first instinct was to look around...
I sat in the car for about 10 minutes after the power was off and still hear the ticking sound. The ticking sound continued even after some clicking sounds were heard that sounded like relays disengaging, perhaps related to the battery coolant?
I am hearing a faint ticking sound coming from behind the glove box when my MachE is parked and turned off. Has anyone else heard this noise? Is this tied to a relay or electronic system component running while the car is turned off? I am very curious as to what this noise is from.
Perhaps this...
I love it when MachE owners come together to address these kinds of intricate issues befalling our vehicles. (Thanks @MachLee) Yet this points out a continuing issue, that for those who donāt have an early adopter mindset or skills it is a challenge to maintain a first generation EV.
Hopefully...
