I opted for TSW Sprint for my winter package, 18x8.5ā size with I think 40mm offset. No issues after a full season of use last year.
When shopping for wheels, be sure to check the load capacity of the wheelā¦this really cut down the number of options. Itās somewhere in this forum if you want to...
Iām trying! Phil Long in Colorado Springs isnāt prioritizing recall work, theyāre scheduling 3 months out. Have a dealer in Montrose interested in doing the work, but thereās only one mobile glass guy in that area so Iām at the mercy of that schedulingā¦.almost got it done last week though (But...
My local ford dealer Phil Long Motor City in Colorado Springs, is apparently uninterested in doing recall workā¦I decided to finally schedule the windshield and roof recall work, but theyāre scheduling out in December at this point! The lady on the phone said thereās only one person assigned to...
This is a dangerous āfixā though it makes sense as a backup safety feature, to monitor temps like that. I spend lots of time driving two lane rural highways and frequently passing other cars. I time my passes based upon what my car can offer for acceleration. If Iām in the middle of a pass...
Iāve put about 25k miles on my ER AWD, mostly on rural highways in Colorado (I drive back and forth between Woodland Park and Ridgway often). With snow tires, winter range has been on the 190-210 rangeā¦I think the larger battery is a must for cold climates like this, you wonāt regret that choice.
Averaging about 60mph with temps in the teens, Iām getting around 200 range (more like 240miles in 30 deg weather). Precondition the car and be cautious of your heat usage and you should be fine.
After trying different modes, Iāve settled on Whisper, no 1PD, as being the best. Whisper as itās easier to be gentle with throttle inputs, and no 1PD to allow me to more easily coast through ice when the road is variably icy and clear. This was really useful on Monarch Pass for example.
You wonāt really know until youāre at the dealer signing the paperwork. I had arrangements with mine for x-plan pricing, no ADM, and a limit on the doc fees. I had all that in writing, via text messages with my sales guy. Even still, they added those stupid āsecurity stickersā to all the car...
Iāve been tracking this data on a 240 mile route I do often, which hasnāt required stopping to charge until lately when I installed winter tires. The data never matches, the calculated mi/kWh is always lower than what the trip meter shows.
Another factor will be coldā¦Iām not getting 88.8kWh...
I take credit for the first Mach-E in orbit, as evidenced by the in-car GPS readout:
For a while it though it was in central CO near twin lakes (a place itās never been). GPS wouldnāt updateā¦I began to think that was due to my having pulled fuse #23 due to a stereo that was freaking out and...
Do you mean the journey recording? I donāt have that turned on currently. Tried it when I first got the car and found it useless, tried it a couple weeks ago and it locked up the app, I had to reinstall the app and set up my phone as a key again! Is it usefulā¦should I try again?
I think neither is correct. Iāve been tracking consumption on a 240 mile route I do weekly, and have found the reporting mi/kWh (blue line below) does not match what you get when calculating it based upon battery % (green line).
Interesting thought. I actually never took it in to the dealer for that 12V issue, it was too much of a hassle due to where I live and the car was otherwise fine. An OTA update appeared to fix it. Iāll check those LVB connectionsā¦Iām planning to pull those this weekend to totally power cycle...
