Same thing happened to me. I had to turn it back on and it worked ok. This is just a bunch of bullshit programming. Ford should be better than this. They have way too many engineers that can test this before pushing crap onto the consumer.

If Ford wants me to pay for bluecruise it’s not going to happen. I will not pay any more for blue cruise when it cannot center its self in the lane. Giving it free control, it will hug the right line and drive over the reflective bumps.

The point here is what should the operator do? in face of the warnings that the transmission is not in park, does putting the transmission in park or reverse solve the problem? No Release the parking break allows one to move but doesn’t resolve the fact that the door is open.

If the only thing you have is an icon then that’s the only thing you are focusing on. If you have multiple messages on a display the icons are not something one would notice. The operator needs to be pointed to issues.
