  1. One-pedal fault - anyone seen this?

Count me in for this bug. Just got it this morning. Car had been in garage two days. 90% charge and got turtle mode too. Restarted and cleared. So far …..
  2. Stop Safely Now (HVBJB): Mach-E Owners Biggest Fear - Facts and Info Thread

I was supposed to get a month’s ford credit reimbursement for my nearly 4 week HVBJB repair. That was back in early June. Still have not seen anything. Maybe I will call the BEV team tomorrow to follow up as it’s been like 6 weeks
  3. How many miles before replacing tires?

17k miles on GT and tires seem still fine. Anyone getting over 30k miles on their GT OEM tires? I figure I can go this winter with these and then think about replacing next fall. Did the old Abe test and half the head getting chopped
  4. Charging more than 80% regularly?

I charge to 100% at work all the time. But I am leaving work within 10-30 minutes of achieving 100% and I then use 10-12% to get home so I think it’s no big deal. I have avoided charging to 100% and just leaving it overnight. I think it’s leaving the battery at 100% for a long time that is...
  5. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

While I am no Tesla fanboy I think it is honest to acknowledge their lead in the EV race on many fronts. But this is because they were so early and also because of not being weighed down by legacy issues - like the dealer networks. So I am willing to cut Ford a little slack. Let’s see what...
  6. Stop Safely Now (HVBJB): Mach-E Owners Biggest Fear - Facts and Info Thread

Make sure you get compensated by ford for your hassle. At the very least they should pay for your ICE gas and if it takes over 3 weeks they should Pay for your Ford credit car loan if you have it. While I also bemoan Ford’s poor engineering decisions on this car, I have to admit their customer...
  7. Increase range on GT for long trips

Warmer weather, helps for sure. I get 3.5 to 3.7 regularly in my GT now that it’s warmer at 67-70mph avg speeds and 3.3 at 72-75mph. In winter it was like 0.3-0.5 worse but I still managed almost always to get 3 or 3.1. I wonder if with future software updates if efficiency can be improved...
  8. Would you pay $75/month or $800/year for BlueCruise hands free highway driving? This will be option for 2023 Mach-E

So when do those of us who got the bluecruise option on our 2022s get the new BC 1.2 ?
  9. Would you pay $75/month or $800/year for BlueCruise hands free highway driving? This will be option for 2023 Mach-E

When is ford going to roll out the upgraded blue cruise with lane changing to existing blue cruise users? They need some serious upgrades to warrant $800/yr with the simplified lane keeping blue cruise software that my ‘22 has
  10. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

Got a welcome surprise today as my dealer was able to complete my HVBJB repair and they got the clip/harness part too! Only 3 weeks, most of that time waiting on the harness/clip part.
  11. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

fwiw…. I had this same exact problem like 8 weeks ago. Charging fault and orange lights on charge port and SVS warning. I unplugged as I was at work and 2 hours later the SVS had cleared. I drove it home and then to the dealer the next day. No SVS warning the following day when I drove to...
  12. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

Going on 3 weeks now... and the HVBJB was replaced in the first week it was there!!! But they broke some harness clip part # LK9014301A and they can't get it - even through COPIS! I just spoke with BEV team and they are telling me the part is 'available' on May 4th, but they dont know...
  13. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

Update on my HVBJB repair. So big surprise is that my little dealership was able to install the new HVBJB in the first week they had it. Bad news is I can’t get my car because of some “small clip” that broke and they cannot find a replacement. So now going on week 2 with no visibility given...
  14. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

@Fixbear are you saying that the “new replacement” HVBJB are basically the same part except for some minor capacitor or resistor timing changes?
  15. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

I am hoping to get my GT back with new HVBJB next week. Does anyone know the part number of these new revisions ? I want to see if I got a new version or not
  16. Tesla Slashes Prices

Tesla has basically just 2 models. The S and X don’t really count. In some areas the penetration of Ys and 3s is just crazy. I am happy to pay more for a different car. I am not debating the value proposition of buying a M3P with full rebate…. But. For decades you could spend 1/2 or even...
  17. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

I think in my case @dtbaker61 nailed it in his list. I was parked at a hotel L2 charger from 8am till 4pm charging to 100% from like 26%. It was an unusually hot day - over 75F and I did WOT on the hiway passing another car when it struck. I bet it was that long charge plus the WOT and of...
  18. Updates on the HVBJB (22S41)

My HVBJB just failed this weekend. 13,387 miles on a GT. My car was a March build so I knew this would happen. I have never DCFC because I knew this was a risk. I also drove a bit less macho than I would otherwise at times also because I worried about it. And it did fail as I was passing a car...
  19. Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Update it is confirmed to be HVBJB. I told them to order through COPIS and they said they are expediting it. It’s a small dealership. They have 1 EV tech who is certified to do the repair. Luckily for me I am the third HBVJB he is doing. Whew! Not the first one! They said hopefully a...
  20. Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Well just got SVS again! This time I got the ford pass High Voltage Battery warning and the Power Train warning/malfunction GT with 13420 miles Four weeks ago I got SVS while L2 charging. Brought it into Ford and I have to admit Ford’s BEV team was on the ball and very professional. My dealer...
