I'd argue the FordPass app isn't a driving function. Maybe you've granted a family member access so they can unlock the car to retrieve an item they forgot.
v2 Superchargers are 150 kW and their cables aren't liquid cooled. They're just thick.
I suspect if Tesla actually releases an extension, it'll be limited but I'd expect something in the 100-150 range. It'll just be bulky and expensive. And probably a bit too short in an attempt to keep the...
Because then they have to store thousands of them. And then ship thousands of them at once or people'll just be whining about shipping order. For something they're giving you for free.
v2 Superchargers have thicker cables and their pedestals are numbered 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, and so on. v3 Superchargers will be unnumbered or numbered 1, 2, 3, 4. I vaguely recall hearing about some installations that are numbered 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 2A, etc, but I'm not sure about that.
I don't know if...
Honestly, it's a hard problem. Sure, the owner should be able to track their stolen car. But someone escaping from an abusive relationship should be able to turn that tracking off.
Maybe they could make it so if you turn off tracking, the data is still submitted to Ford but doesn't show up in...
At older superchargers this was optimal... they were installed in power sharing pairs so for best charging speeds you'd want to use different pairs... at most installations this would mean skipping a stall between vehicles.
And the notice in the FordPass app says:
"Adapter pricing as well as charging rates will be shared closer to Tesla Superchargers becoming available through the BlueOval Charge Network."
Maybe it'll be free. After all, even if they give you one for free, that doesn't mean your second one when...
The plan is probably there is no plan. Having a CCS plug means it's compatible which means they can get some of that incentive money. It being uselessly short... sucks to be, well, everyone that isn't Tesla.
They'll probably have a single stall set up for vehicles with bike racks that can't...
