I consider mine (Select) a CUV.... but only after breaking the 'rules' and installing a receiver hitch for my bike rack, and occasional utility trailer use.
without the hitch it would just be a big heavy pretty good handling hatchback with not good enough performance to be considered a 'sport'...
I turn off Bluetooth on my phone when I am home.... no problem with LV battery (3+ years now) since my MME 'sleeps soundly'. My office is right next to garage, and I am in and out of garge many times per day.
I usually charge for a few hours every couple days to keep HV between 50%-90%, and...

.... fit well, and are 100% water-proof if you have mud/snow to deal with
unless you have two EVs, and both driving more than 100 miles per day every day, I can't imagine why you would want to install two chargers.
personally, I'd have your electrician put in one NEMA 14-50 outlet (with 50a circuit in your service), and charge using a mobile charger at 32amps...
why would it be a big problem to tap existing LED wires if trailer lights are also LED ?
I could see it being a problem if trailer lights are old incandescent with higher current draw.
How good/bad were the instructions ?
Working well for you ?
I found another one, but have not installed either yet.

... seems a bit pricey compared to tapping a couple wires, but if...
The point (to me) is that the vehicle is mechanically the same... the tow capabilities *should* be the same. If you want to tow, get one of the several US towbars available, install it, and be happy using your SUV as an actual 'Utility Vehicle'.
I use my Torklift hitch receiver *mostly* for my...
a. the car/ford/dealership won't 'know' if you tap existing tail-light wires to run a simple 4 or 7 wire plug for trailer lights.
b. ford won't care unless you damage the drivetrain/battery in some way while pulling a trailer and they can prove that towing caused the damage so they can disallow...
I'd love to know if there is a significant change in the HVBJB hardware, sensors, or software that could be transplanted to a '21 to enable full WOT for 12 seconds!
I bought a 'TeslaTap' destination charger in case I overnight anywhere that has only a Tesla L2.... haven't used it yet, but it's stored in my car just in case.
I look forward to the NACS, but am unsure how often I'll need it. I took my first multi-day trip last year after 3 years of ownership...
I would insist on the HVBJB remove/replacement be done before you take delivery..... and ask for a deeper discount since you will not get any of the $7500 tax credit that the '21 original owner collected on.
given current MSRP for a new '23 just dropped, and the '21 has 31k miles.... I wouldn't...
The Mach-e cargo area, with a 3" foam trifold mattress (I have one from Tesmainian), and front seats tipped forward provides a REALLY nice camp bed... 6' long ! combined with a 'Hatch-tent', and inductive cooktop, the Mach-e is well equipped for car camping...
sounds like a project for @AOSK .
At EV events I usually use my 2-burner inductive cooktop sitting on its storage box to provide a flat surface, and show off the ability to export power from 12v, thru an inverter, and run the cooktop... but I can see where people might 'pony up' for a flat...
cool, if they are shipping into the 8000's now.... it will be super interesting to see how many they are able to ship out each month! I'll check back in May and see where ya'll are at.
hopefully the OP will see this response....
yes, the hood can be popped via the 12v jumpers, but ONLY if the 12v battery in the frunk is completely dead.... which is something we all hope never to experience.
so, the frunk is probably the 'safest' place in the car for anything valuable since...
OMG, really, worried about weight in your Mach-e ?!
....well I can relate to a degree ;) leftover from my bike racing days when grams mattered.
If it makes you feel better, do what I did and removed the under-hood plastic tub cover, and the rear 'beauty' cover... and leave them off. I think I...
