Ford NACS Adapter has shipped [and NOW ARRIVING]!

Crickets here. No notice and no delivery. I am order #437...wondering why many of the order numbers in the 500s are receiving theirs and I am not?

Car won’t start. Locked out. Making loud banging noise

I had my 22 MME GTPE in for the HVBJB replacement two weeks ago. In the course of fixing that, they replaced the 12V battery. Two days later, the car was totally dead; tow truck came out and jump started the car. Took it back to Ford who tested the 12V battery, said it was defective and they...

Sharing a list of upgrades to my new 2023 Ford Mach-E GT PE

Awesome looking; those aren't OEM wheels are they? If they aren't, what are they?

Edmunds Massive Charging Comparison - MME is second to last.

This is all about 'use case.' I knew the US infrastructure is not built for EVs, but I bought one anyway. Why? Because 95% of my driving is less than 20 miles per day; 4% is a 150 mile trip every other week; and I have taken ONE road trip of 2,500 miles. Stopping to charge during my road trip...

Shame on You HERTZ (and maybe other rental agencies)

Tesla open to Ford. Really? Try traveling cross country (I am driving from Boston to Austin) and tell me to wait. What hertz is doing is wrong. And this was not an aberration in Nashville. The women I spoke to said she does it all the time. BTW, she was charging two MME GTs and two Kias. She...

Shame on You HERTZ (and maybe other rental agencies)

As if there are not enough charging stations for public use, now we have companies like HERTZ taking them over. I was in Nashville yesterday trying to charge my MME GTPE. The EA chargers showed 100% in use, for hours. So this morning I drove over to the EA station which had six units...

How much do you pay for electric at home?

The rate is a flat $10 per month, plus usage. With average monthly usage, the rate is essentially the same (amortizing the $10 over about 900 kWh). My actual monthly rate ranges from $0.245 to $0.285 which accounts for amortizing the $10 over differing usages)

How much do you pay for electric at home?

Here in Mass I pay $.25 kWh (includes delivery and supplier charges) . Mass does not offer any sort of peak/off-peak programs. Ridiculously expensive if you ask me, but still much cheaper than gas.

    Crack in front bumper

A scribe mark makes sense, but only on one side? It was installed by the dealer. Yes, I removed it completely. See my related post (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/best-way-to-display-license-plate-in-2023.28973/page-4#post-665338) which was how I found this scratch in the first place.

    Crack in front bumper

I agree it looks more like a scratch, but it is NOT caused by the bracket. The bracket frame is three inches away. There was nothing touching that part of the bumper at all. It is possible the dealer did it while installing the bracket as it lines up directly with one of the holes. I will take...

Best way to display license plate in 2023

I ordered the laminate plate from Canada. Wish I had known about this before holes were drilled in my bumper. This might not be legal in Mass where I live, but I will worry about that if and when it comes up. I love the look. Below are the before and after pictures.

    Crack in front bumper

While installing a new laminate front license plate, I discovered a crack in the front bumper (see picture). The crack coincidentally aligns with the previous license plate hole, but it is only on the one side. I am thinking this is a flaw and a warranty claim as I have not hit anything with the...

Unable to close driver door. Keep a wrench in your glove box for 12V disconnect!

Page 79 of the owners manual acknowledges this issue with a recommended fix...not sure if that would work, but at least it is suggested

I had no idea Ford quality was THIS bad - Check the pictures!

I can't help it....yes, the nature of this forum is to air complaints, but..I love my MME GTPE. It is one of the best cars I have even owned (I am 71 years old and a car buff). ( have had my MME for 14 months and 10,000 miles. My son has a Model Y which has one of the worst fit and finishes I...

Limited Edition Shelby Mach-E GT Revealed for Europe

$27k+ for some plastic add-ons, paint, stickers and noise? Absurd. I might go for $3k. Maybe they made a decimal error when printing out the press release

    Long term storage

March 31 update- I have now returned after three months and two weeks. As noted, before departing I ran the HVB down to 51% and disconnected the LVB negative terminal. I did not remove the LVB and left it in the garage near Boston for the duration. I returned today and reconnected the LVB. The...

    Possibly Facing Eviction; Advice Needed

I know it is frustrating to be told one thing to later on be told something else. You resent this change, but since you don' t have it in writing and their written lease agreement seems clear, you are stuck with the outcome. You use somewhere between $40 and $50 of electricity per month based on...

The PAAK POLL - does it “work” for you?

Not as good as FOB, but not having the other problems to the extent listed. I use PAAK exclusively and enjoy not having and additional device (FOB) to remember to bring along. 2022 GT PE Samsung Galaxy S10 For entry, nothing special. It does sometimes take a couple pushes to get the door to...

    Long term storage

Ok- thanks for the feedback...as far as I can tell....best practice for a three month storage is to 1) estabish the HVB at a 50% SOC, 2)disconnect the LVB, and 3) do not plug in the charger for the HVB. Updates, if any, will occur via the WiFi connection. That is what I'll do and comment on the...
