Didn't expect to be teary eyed at work today but what a great story. As a fellow nerd, I can relate to him through his passion. So cool that he got to work on a cool product and got to own it. Wishing his family the best and may the Mach-E grow old with them.
I was reading through the thread and didn't understand what the complaint was, since I was remembering my Lightning's stalk and forgot the Mach-E had two stalks.
To the people worrying about this, it is not hard at all. It is pretty intuitive and you get used to it very quickly. I switch...
Great pics! If I had known, I would have showed up, too. Were the Ford people mostly informational or were they also engineers that listened to feedback etc
Because most of the remarks were delivered by the CFO and not Jim Farley, some speculation on Reddit etc that Farley's time at Ford may be at risk.
If Farley does leave Ford (again, just speculation by random redditors), anyone see a risk for future Ford EV support? How much of the EV efforts...
I tested out 1.3 in stop-and-go traffic over the holiday. One circumstance I do not like is if going from 0 to 20mph and then traffic stops again, it still likes to speed up and then slam on the brakes. I usually have it at the smallest distance gap because Bay Area drivers will take any and all...
I should have worded it better. With 1.0, I felt like it was always too close to the lane separator/dashed lines. Whenever a car would pass me on the left, I would feel the car get even closer to that line.
It does not do that with 1.3
Got it this evening and took it for a spin after. 9PM, I-505.
It did really good. It just feels more solid/confident all around. Stays centered a lot better and does not hog the middle line like before. Previously, I felt like it was drifting closer to other cars as they were passing me. That...
How do these TSBs work? If I go into a dealership, can they pull all of the TSBs for my car or do I have to provide them ids? Just in the last few days, Mach-Lee has posted several
Hello folks, noticed a weird issue today. A few days ago, my car threw a "Plugin to maintain 12V Battery", which we have had a few times in the past. My theory was it was because my wife hasn't been driving the car much due to pregnancy.
This morning, I got out of my other car and noticed the...
I know it sounds absurd but I mostly agree with the reason behind the boycott. It just screams bad programming and protocols to me. Do they not live/dogfood their changes? Do they not gather internal feedback because external customers can’t be the only ones that don’t like this change.
Exactly. The graphic does not react to anything the car is doing. I was hoping the brake lights would light up if being applied, the doors would show which one is exactly open, but no, it is useless.
When driving around, it just sits there providing 0 useful info.
I am a software engineer and...
