    Settings reset

Updates have been known to do that, otherwise, it's just Ford software being Ford software 🤷🏻

Ford Announces EV and Hybrid Program & Plant Updates

It was never about labor cost, it's about the earnings they show their shareholders.

Software Update 6.14 Rolling Out to Mustang Mach-E

Speak for yourself! What I look forward towards most in my vacations is getting to a rental spot that doesn't have my car ready, getting my tired, annoyed family in it and finally being able to read a 200+ page digital manual on a laggy screen 😁

Software Update 6.14 Rolling Out to Mustang Mach-E

At least the tiny trunk button works for you😕. Mines been failing to open randomly for over a year now. I mentioned it during the time they were replacing my door module and they reprogrammed everything. That worked for a while. Now it's back to not doing anything

    Charging on Dryer Outlet

Some EVSE's have limiters either with a physical switch (sometimes under a screwed on cover), or handled through their apps. Just make sure that whatever you buy, set it and check afterwards that it's not pulling more than what you told it to. Fire risks/breakers tripping become an issue if they do.

    Water in tail lamps

Hopefully they fix it, this reminds me of that $5k repair bill someone was hit with for having water in their tail light on an F150 a while back.

What do you do with the dealer tramp stamp?

I always tell them to remove it. I just paid you $30k+, that should be advertisement enough.

Annoying seat position profile / memory behavior

That used to work for me. But since a few updates the car has to be on for those buttons to work, which is stupid because you have to get in and press the brakes to turn it on... As to OP's question if you find an answer please share, I've had this problem since I got the car 2 years ago and...

Very positive long-term Mach-E ownership review by Edmunds

That's one thing I agree on in this video. I don't hate the way it feels, just the inconsistent manner in which it works. Sometimes it opens right away, other times it takes 2-3 presses to open. In those 2-3 times it takes to open, the car can auto-lock itself and then the pressing with the...

    Mach E vs. 2024 Kia EV9

Did Ford get it right? Because my seat position is never remembered correctly, no matter how many times i long press the door buttons, it doesn't save the suggested destinations feature ever and every now and then they push out an update that just messes with random settings like auto mirror...

    Is This Normal??

Yeah.. you're likely never gonna get the 300+ miles. Those EPA ratings are weird and automakers take advantage of the fact that they aren't the ones who said what it should be. Depending on what car vs reality numbers you look at people will either say "they are a bunch of scamming pricks" or...

    Mach-E being discontinued ?

I wouldn't be 100% surprised but I highly doubt it. They DID discontinue the Route 1 for 24's if I recall, maybe your dealer read the first sentence of that email and assumed the whole product was being cut.

This is only going to get worse until EA and others rethink charger placement in crowded parking lots

That's not a charge location problem, that's a driver being a dick problem.

Does anyone aware of this and does Ford share our driving data?

Mozilla did a report on them a while ago. https://foundation.mozilla.org/en/privacynotincluded/ford/ Sadly, people are okay with having their data shared now a days, as long as the company gathering the info isn't from a certain country.

Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

States excuse is that since we don't pay gas tax that's how they factor it in. I'm not allowed to say what I feel about that because then things can get political. 😉

Paying Our Fair Share of Highway Taxes [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

New FordPass app? Not sure how I feel.

It looks nice, but does it work any better? Because the current app is pretty awful. Any action takes 10-30 seconds and are pretty prone to just failing. Ford have truly mastered the art of turd polishing.

Can the next generation Mach-E please include more buttons?

They should focus on fixing existing things rather than adding more half working buttons to the car. I suggest they start with REALLY REALLY basic things like opening and closing doors reliably. Then move on to things like having the car actually turn off features when we set them off, or not...

US to probe Texas fatal crash that may have involved Ford partially automated driving system

Sadly, another old human driving into a human story won't get as many clicks. But if new tech is involved then people will read/look into it. They don't give a crap about safety, it's about making money off ads and views.

Destination Suggestions. Why does it keep turning itself on?

I tried that but it didn't do much. Same problem still persists. I hate everyone involved in implementing this feature from the person who threw the idea out there in a meeting, those in the meeting that didn't say "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard", to the person who green lit it.
