  1. Ford Quadruples BlueCruise Price to $800/yr for All Renewals

In its current form, no way. Haven't tried 1.2 yet but 1.0 is just too spotty to pay that kind of coin.
  2. Is it OK to tint the IR-coated windshield or sunroof?

Native Californian here. Now in Nevada. I haven’t had a front plate in 20 years between the two states and never an issue. Tint on the front windows (which is illegal in CA, just the same as windshield tint is illegal) — I’ve had a “fix it ticket” once and it was a concession in lieu of a...
  3. Is it OK to tint the IR-coated windshield or sunroof?

I live in a state where these laws are just not enforced.
  4. Is it OK to tint the IR-coated windshield or sunroof?

I'd like to put a privacy film on the windshield. Ceramic for extra heat rejection. The car has the IR glass (evidenced by the purple-ish hue in the sunlight) which rejects 50% of the heat. Theoretically, ceramic film would increase that even more. Some say adding tint on the inside will trap...
  5. Really impressed by the infrared windshield

Is there a risk to tinting the windshield given the IR coating? I’ve heard it can increase the chances of cracking??
  6. Will this tire/wheel package work on my Mach-E?

Since the factory offset on the 18" wheels is 47.5mm, I'm worried the 42mm offset won't be sufficient for clearance. 18" x 7.0" J 5 x 108 47.5mm So I switched to the Konig Oversteer 18", which has a +45mm offset, a few pounds lighter at 19.7 (vs 26.4 for the MSW wheel).
  7. Will this tire/wheel package work on my Mach-E?

Gotcha - I'm guessing the 245 width had more to do with the range loss than the tread pattern? I have a Jeep GC 4xe and noticed zero EV range difference swapping tires, but Jeeps aren't known for being engineered for efficiency.
  8. Will this tire/wheel package work on my Mach-E?

2021 Prem AWD ER Trying to solve for a smoother ride plus get an all weather tire (snow 5 months out of the year) 18x8 with a +42mm offset, 235/60 tires. Or can/should I go with a 245/55 tire?
  9. Mach-E Order Bank Reopens With Lower Pricing, Higher EPA Est. Range, BlueCruise 1.2 Hands-Free Tech

Another spillover effect of the reduced tax credit, perhaps, not applying as much cap reduction? Or I thought there was a loophole for leasing that maxxed out the credit (unless that was just for ineligible manufacturers, leaving MME in the messy middle??) Anyhow, I've owned four Tesla's. Every...
  10. Mach-E Order Bank Reopens With Lower Pricing, Higher EPA Est. Range, BlueCruise 1.2 Hands-Free Tech

A lot. I vowed never to buy another Tesla and I found myself speccing out a car. Thank God I found a used MME at a reasonable price otherwise I might have just done that (shudders).
  11. Mach-E Order Bank Reopens With Lower Pricing, Higher EPA Est. Range, BlueCruise 1.2 Hands-Free Tech

I love it. Only issue is most of these dealers make their money selling over priced loans and useless vehicle add-ons.
  12. Preconditioning Improves Range up to 20% [Ford Brochure]

So with the new update, how does one precondition? Asking for a friend
  13. Mach-Lee's Mach-E Cold Weather Testing [Taking Requests]

Love these posts, Mach-Lee. What a service they are to the community. Thank you. I typically drive from Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV through the Donner Pass  and am a bit concerned about the MME's ability to make it on a single trip during the winter ('21 Prem ER AWD, stock 19" wheels &...
  14. Is it just me…

Good skip. We bought a Model Y and dumped it for a small profit last month. Harshest riding car we've ever owned. Trim pieces were falling off after a few months of ownership too. Ordered a MME and can't wait to take delivery.
