If you have a 2021, you should have gotten the ford tire and wheel coverage last fall I think it was. It covers road rash. It also covers paint fixes. Saved me a bundle.
Totally agree! And the fair compensation should start right at the top, with Fords stupidly overpaid CEO! The CEO of the company I work for is a medical doctor, makes less than half of what this clown at Ford does, and delivers life saving therapies to the world, on the cutting edge of medical...
We have had or MME for just over two years now. Love that car. I had a reservation for a Lightning, which I absolutely was going to purchase (living the the northeast, the roads are bad, and you really feel it all in the MME, so a truck would make a good second vehicle). However, ford can't get...
I had the same problem with my 2021 for about a year and a half. My address would not show in the ford app, and it always assumed I was at my neighbors house. Glitch that somehow fixed in an update last December I think it was.
My mache randomly forgets what drive mode it's in. Never been in an accident. Seems like another ford software bug. It seems to be happening more frequently in the last few months. While driving, which is unnerving. Driver profile is steady, so that is not the issue.
We have an 11kw tesla solar roof with 3 powerwalls. I charge my Mache during the day so as to avoid putting any energy back on the grid ( as it does NOT make sense to do so based on the compensation rates which are only about 25% of the value). The only time we allow electricity to go back on...
The app is screwed. Some update recently, and now every time I open it on my phone it immediately crashes. I doesn't register the car charging, I have to use my chargepoint app to keep an eye on it. Not sure what Ford did, but just wow.
I searched through the threads and couldn't find any posts on this topic. My MME had about 15K miles on it. I walked by my right rear tire after parking and noticed a six inch long uneven split on the side of my tire. Suffice to say going down to the dealership tomorrow morning, but this is a...
Of course, it's the IRS! They check the ones that are sold before the specified time agreement on resale, and then come after you to recover part of the rebate.
Great poll! I don't think the ford or mustang badge drove me at all to buy the MME. It was the looks and good reviews (i.e. it didn't look like a Tesla). Interestingly enough, this is my first Ford and first American car of my adult life (coming up on 50). As a child of the 80s, America car...
I love my Mache as well, but we are going to buy another EV (was waiting on my lightning reservation, but I think that is a lost cause). The one question I have is the suspension on the 2023 MY. Is it really better than the Mache? (THIS is really my only issue with the Mache....the suspension...
US consumers pay higher for everything....cars, drugs, tech. It is because the US consumer pays for the world's innovation. It stinks for sure. I don't see it changing anytime soon.
I decided just to plug into the 120v outlet in my garage (unheated, massachusetts). It adds about 36 miles in 12 hours which is plenty to cover my daily commute. Saved myself the cost of the charge station and the 2k the electrician was going to charge for installing a 240v plug for the level 2...
Do you know if the chargers you tried to connect to used chargepoint inside the network? Chargepoint app was fully down on the 28th of December. Luckily the access of touching the phone to the station without having the app open still worked otherwise I wouldn't have been able to charge my MME...
