No concern on my part but it does seem like they got some out to meet the April commitment and things have since quieted down. Hopefully they start shipping again or maybe they have been.
My understanding is whisper still has regen as soon as you lift but it is very mild. Does not matter as I tried all three modes and found engaged suited me best. That is a good thing about the Mach (EV’s?) - lots of options to suit your style and none are really any better that the other or so...
ChargePoint - but there are many good options out there. Next go round, unless things change, I will get a dumb EVSE. Turns out all I do is plug in and charge as needed. We have flat rates so no programming needed. Plus most programming can be done in the car. Some areas; however, have complex...
If you read the threads the Ford Mobile may be unreliable over time. Some have have used it continuously with no issues but for many it has crapped out over time. Mine sits in my trunk and has only been used once in two years to test it. If I get another Mach I will not purchase a mobile charger.
I would try to research, which may not be possible, what software glitches it may have experienced. Of course along with its repair history. Just seems to me that there is quite a bit of dissatisfaction with software and I would not want to inherit a know issue.
I never use 1 PD so am unsure if there is a sweet spot where you may be neither in regen nor accel so perhaps coasting. I guess maybe that is also possible in 2 PD but most of my driving is around town so I am always either in accel or regen as far as I can tell. If I needed/wanted to coast I...
Yes - only the GTPE had it in the past. Not something you can add to a car on the lot. Not sure which models have it for 24 without looking - probably GT and Rally.
Well you never really coast unless you are in neutral or maybe perfect 1 PD operator. Unless you are a poor driver I believe you can get 100% regen all the time. Only time I do not, I believe, is a quick light change when I have to stop quickly.
I was hoping you would get more advice like @azerik provided. You do not have much experience with DCFC so there remains just as much chance that you are making a mistake as there is a problem with the car. No matter what visually inspect those pins before DCFC again!
The Mobile cord is probably not the issue as the DCFC uses the other pins that are covered. I guess I would inspect the DCFC pins to ensure nothing got sprayed into them! Certainly never spray WD40 into the pins. I have never DCFC’d but perhaps you could share some more specific fault info so...
