Thanks for that update on your progress.
My experience with the Bronco was that the harness that extend all the way to the rear bumper had a wire in it that activated the rear fog light - it was a matter of identifying which wire this was (it was a blue/white wire), and tapping it to connect...
@21st Century Pony How's your progress on the rear fog light? Additionally, where did you source the Euro rear tail light and interior light switch? Can you post a photo of the light switch? I sourced one for my Bronco - a U.S. online dealer had it; wasn't hard to find with the proper part #...
Can you direct me to a thread (or do you have) with FORSCAN instructions to enable the frunk button? I have the necessary adapter and have done mods on other recent Fords.
Thanks for the clarification.
So far no issues with the charger.
I did make one observation: at my preset charge rate of 40A, I noticed that at times it charges at 9.7 KW for particular sessions, but drops to 9.5 KW on others - is this a result of electricty being used elsewhere in the household?
I just installed an Emporia EV Charger, and I like the user-interface, which is simple and easy to understand, configure.
I'm wondering about the Emporia interfacing with some of the FordPass configurations, though; for example, if the Emporia is set to begin charging at 12 AM, and FordPass...
I find this a strange conversation - comparing a Macan to a Mach-E. I must however remind that the big, flat battery sitting thus low in the Mach-E should do wonders for its handling; do we have car-magazine slalom numbers for both cars to compare?
I just got home taking the car through some twisties - it handled great! And using Blue Cruise is always fun. Glad you finally have your car, @Atxsw, drive it over the weekend and let us have your impression of the car (is it a Premium Ext?).
The dealer should know where it is, based on info. he should have on the local railyard and the trucking company used? I never asked my dealer what system he used, but I'd guess something more informative than what was available to me.
Finally, "delivery"; from the order date, the wait was 352 days. I can't think of another car that fits the family better at this particular moment. :)
This is really my wife's car, and she decided to pop by the dealer's today to check out the car (her pick-up appt. is Tuesday). The car's been fully-detailed, charged up, and is being displayed in the showroom. A few quick photos:
Just received a message from the dealer this morning, asking to come pick up the car this weekend - consider my car delivered, if you wish, @KIMache! I'll likely pick it up early next week, and post a photo here.
Here's hoping that you'll get your E next week as well, @Atxsw !
My car was delivered to the dealer in Santa Cruz, CA this afternoon (though I've yet to hear from the dealer). Since I'm out of town till Saturday, I'm looking forward to picking up the car this coming Sunday :) .
My car was at the rail yard in Richmond, CA for an entire week before being...
