Thanks for the clarification. So far no issues with the charger. I did make one observation: at my preset charge rate of 40A, I noticed that at times it charges at 9.7 KW for particular sessions, but drops to 9.5 KW on others - is this a result of electricty being used elsewhere in the household?

Got it. I'd thought that the Emporia could talk to the car's charger, but apparently not, it's merely a "spigot". Thanks for the clarification!

I just installed an Emporia EV Charger, and I like the user-interface, which is simple and easy to understand, configure. I'm wondering about the Emporia interfacing with some of the FordPass configurations, though; for example, if the Emporia is set to begin charging at 12 AM, and FordPass...

I find this a strange conversation - comparing a Macan to a Mach-E. I must however remind that the big, flat battery sitting thus low in the Mach-E should do wonders for its handling; do we have car-magazine slalom numbers for both cars to compare?

The dealer should know where it is, based on info. he should have on the local railyard and the trucking company used? I never asked my dealer what system he used, but I'd guess something more informative than what was available to me.

Finally, "delivery"; from the order date, the wait was 352 days. I can't think of another car that fits the family better at this particular moment. :)

This is really my wife's car, and she decided to pop by the dealer's today to check out the car (her pick-up appt. is Tuesday). The car's been fully-detailed, charged up, and is being displayed in the showroom. A few quick photos:
