Haha. I was trying to figure out how that R1T is parked in the Twitter video linked above. They don't look THAT askew, but it's hard to tell with the snow.

This is only kind of a joke - squirrels are awful, tenacious, destructive little creatures. I've not seen them damage plastic trim before though. People here have tried peppermint, ultrasonic deterrents, etc...
I'll fess up - I thought the steering wheel could only telescope based on what I'd read in these forums. I never needed to adjust it since I was pretty happy with the distance as it came from the factory.
My car was at the dealer for a month due to glass recall shenanigans, and when I got it...
First Edition here, had it since March 2021. I think I had the 12V battery issue which was fixed pretty promptly; no mechanical issues since. Plenty of road trips; plug & charge has worked for me every time. I forget my keys at home sometimes because PaaK works pretty seamlessly now.
Nice post! Same issue here - we have an Extendtofit, but just couldn't squeeze an infant seat next to it in the middle since it's so damn wide. I wish we'd bought a slim convertible seat, so we'd be able to use the third seat position again in the rear. Maybe when the baby outgrows the infant...
Unfortunately, I have learned a bit more since my recent attempts - I don't think you can really revert the firmware modules unless you actually have the old firmware binaries yourself (VBF files) and even then you probably need to use Forscan to do it, which is too risky even for me. FDRS...
Tough to hear, @SnBGC. Funny enough, I feel the same way about the brake feel after I did the powertrain module update myself - I wasn't bothered by the "squishiness" in the brakes in their original form. After I did the update though, I had a week of motion sickness while I had to relearn the...
Counterpoint: I believe gray squirrels in the UK are an invasive species and crowd out (or flat out kill through disease transmission) native red squirrels. You're doing your local environment a favor by trapping those little nightmares!
(Can't help you if you live outside the UK though)
Anyone else think that means an obstruction or resistance to gate closing/opening? I remember that noise when I closed my trunk on a grocery bag once, and also when I opened it in an extremely low-clearance parking garage and banged into an overhead pipe (☹️) before it was fully open.
Grabber Blue FE represent! Mine was roaming the country by rail for quite a while, so I didn't take delivery until March. Really, really fantastic car, even with the bugs and quirks (which are getting better!)
Not to hijack your thread myself, OP, but something very similar happened last night except my car alarm (sorry neighbors) went off. The honking and FordPass alert went off in the middle of the night - when I went out to look, the back door was just slightly ajar but still resting on the...
I can vouch for that too. We've done several drive-in movies with ours, and it's worked great. The 'all cabin lights off' button next to the map lights is a very handy feature.
I was actually a little nervous about taking it the first time, since I'd read a C&D article where the author took a...
I debated asking my salesperson if he'd throw in free oil changes (har har) to sweeten the deal, but then I realized that would probably end one of two ways:
- He might take me seriously and offer them, and I'd have to correct and embarrass him or
- He might think *I* don't know anything about...
