My real world experience....
I had the windshield recall and the new one by a "Ford Installer" was crooked.
I had a stone hit my windshield and State Farm used Safe light who ACTUALLY used spacers and put it in straight.
I go with the company that does more and that was NOT the Ford dealer. I...
I don't care about any of these. I just want the damn thing to work. I had my screen freeze on New Years day. It took 5 minutes for it to reboot and work SLOOOOOOOOW. Had to pull over, shut the car off and turn it back on again.
I own the perfect vehicle. My 2000 Trans Am. It works, never fails me and does what I tell her to do. 23 years, 65K miles and I have put a water pump in her because I don't drive her enough and I put a radio in her.
Sure, I have done the brakes but those are wear items.
GM built me a solid car.
I did not expect balanced results. I was simply curios what people THINK.
That's all I asked for and all I expect. It's not scientific, just sheer opinion.
If it doesn't do what is expected, it's a reliability issue. Screen reboots while you drive or just goes blank for minutes at a time. That's a reliability issue. Who wants the car to half reboot while you drive?
It is subjective. I get that. My Wife's 2018 Prius display is NOT sluggish. We have a 2010 & 2018 and outside of my 2000 Trans Am which has been super reliable, they are next.
Me, not a Toyota fan unless it's a Prius.
This is a purely un-scientific poll and simply based on what you THINK with the experience you have had.
For me, after 9 days at the dealer (and the dealer sucks) and all of the software issues, I don't have faith that Ford can make the Mach E right.
The display is sluggish, the random errors...
I'm not having a wonderful time with my dealer but it doesn't hold a candle to what you are going through.
I had to wait a month for them to get the extra key fob as well as another part. She's in today...
In the defense of a dealer (and I do hate to say this but experience...) When they find...
