I don't see the Mach E in black all that much and your car looks sharp.
Thanks! It's definitely a drastic change from the brighter colors given the whole roofline illusion thing. But I like the tradeoff there too have it in black, too.

I generally don't go with darker colors on cars. My last 10 (except the GT500) have been either white or silver. When I ordered the Infinite Blue, I was expecting a much lighter color and when I got it it was kind of a shock to see it in person. Had I known it was going to be this dark, I may have gone black because I considered it at one point. You can really make that car look menacing in black. ?

Infinite Blue is quite the chameleon! Seems to change appearance 4 times a day haha. It's an interesting color.
Thanks. Although black is somewhat common in SUVs, I felt that it's more unusual on this car. Going to full-on embrace the menacing look with a few more modifications, such as tint.

I have tinted my windows but not that dark. I don’t want to get messed with by the law. ?. Went with ceramic tint on all windows for best heat and UV rejection. 70% on windshield and roof, 50% on front door windows and 25% on rear door and hatch windows. Gave it a decent look and not too dark. Also I use Anchor Room for all my external lens tinting on my cars and ordered their kit for the Mach E. Will be applying that this week. I got the light tint for the headlights and standard dark tint for everything else. Not sure I will do the tail lights though. I kind of like the white. http://www.anchor-room.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=Mach e&product_id=1031

Thanks! Personally I won't tint the headlights. I don't want to reduce that light output at all. Looks good though. Side markers are a different story.
Overall, this car doesn't need too much. It's a nice design. Now, if we could just get the app to work consistently:)

That is why I got the light tint for the headlights as it is not that much of a tint but again, I may not even use that. The photo on their website is the darker tint on the headlights which is definitely too much.

I have not used the app at all really. I do have the app and I do have it set up for both the Mach E and GT500 but I never use it for anything. I have dabbled with the shortcuts on my iPhone and on the GT500 can start the car, lock and unlock, find out how much fuel is left, how many miles I can go and what my oil life is all my asking Siri. Don't even have to open the app. I probably can do the same with the Mach E but have not tried. I only did it for fun but never use any of it anyway. I just get in the car and drive it.

I´ve orderd a black Mach E, hoping it will arrive here in Sweden in july.
Your car looks absolutly great, ?

Thank you! Well, July can't get here soon enough! In black, it only looks good for a few minutes after washing, before it looks "dirty" again. But those few minutes are totally worth it :)

I agree Black is an demanding color but is sure goodlooking after washing the car.
Especially in the evning light :)

Curious about your front-end protection kit. Did you DIY or have a shop do it? I looked up the kit on the XPEL website (https://www.xpel.com/product/419066). $600 is a little steep for me to be winging it in my garage with heat gun. I love the grey accents on your air dam.

Had the professionals do it. That bumper has a lot of intricacies that I wasn't about to attempt myself. Maybe something flat and straight like a side panel, but not the front.
Was done at Modern Elix in West Chester PA.
Thanks! The "gray accents" are actually just the stock trim down there. I didn't modify anything besides PPF (so far)!
