Hi all, does anyone happen to know if the brake lights come on when the ’L’ button is pressed? I’ve been using this instead of the OPD button, as it‘s much easier to press and the car slows down more gently, without using brakes, just the re-gen. It works really well for me!

Brake lights come on no matter the mode if the regen is sufficient, but under normal driving in L no, they do not. If you want to alert those behind you of slowing down you will have to touch your brake pedal. By the way I drive in Engaged + L 100% of the time and have never had an issue.

Thanks DYohn, I have been experimenting with the two options for a while now and have found the range is better for me, using L on demand, vs on all the time. Likely different for various driving styles Tho. Thanks agin for the info.

Might I suggest you painter's tape a small pice of paper above the brake light and let it hang over, so when the brake light is on, you'll know.

/obviously not too large to block the brake light.
