Still small sales compared to other SUVs (83,551) in the Ford lineup. The competition isn't Tesla or other EV vehicles, it's ICE SUVs. While it's nice to see it growing, EV's need to become mainstream sooner than later.

From a global perspective, EV sales are increasing fast... mostly because of China and Europe.

In the US, Outside of California, EV's are still kind of exotic. I am hopeful that as supply chain issues get sorted, we will see a lot more than 3K MME's per month being sold here.

Is it wrong of me to hope it stays low for a little while.🫣 I like that I’ve only seen one so far in my town.

There is that :) It's still a thing when I see another MME on the road

Really hard to know precise numbers without Lincoln electrics and the Escape PHEV sales singled out, but looks like Ford is at about 175k electric vehicle sales (as it approaches the 200k cap for the full IRS credit). Still looking like Ford is on track to hit the 200k comfortably in Q3, which would mean the credit starts phasing out January 1st, 2023.

Does anyone have an estimate of how many Mach-E orders are in the backlog (ordered by customers but not delivered)?

Seems Ford has produced a lot of cars, my question, how many have been delivered.

We have another shipping delay. Starting to question Ford ability to deliver and thinking about the Audi ETron. My son has one! Nice car.

Today, we received our 6th email informing us of another delivery delay. Ordered on 5 August 2021. Built 7 March 2022. New delivery dates of 31 May to 6 June.

Questioning if it's worth the frustration.

Production = Number of MachEs produced for the world
Sales = US only-- essentially identical to US deliveries since Mach-Es don't stay on the lot long.

US Sales picked up dramatically in April as Ford started delivering a lot of the January chip holds along with February/March builds. Sales in May are likely to stay high as the rest of the chip holds and March/April builds get delivered.

After 21 weeks of waiting, I checked with Ford.com chat about the status of my order. They had no news but were able to tell me my dealer priority was still at the bottom, priority 19. The dealer hasn't responded to my request for an explanation.

Based on monthly production numbers for 2021 MME, Cuautitan was able to sustain 6-7,000 units for several months, producing around 65,000 total units in 2021. They haven't done that well in 2022 production. Hint of improvement comes with the 5/2/22 build week scheduling that totaled 2770 units in this week alone. Which, IF they can sustain that rate for all of May, could reach 11,000 in this first month of Job 2 2022 MME. Damned big IF, isn't it.

Really want to know that.
It seems that the production is far from keeping up with the orders lol
