Timeline info for the thread and great news for me:
I've previously posted that I: ordered a SB GT from my dealer on 10/1/21 and received a Ford order confirmation on 10/1/21; a Ford email 11/4/2021 said I had a build week of 1/3; a Ford email 1/15 informed me that the car had been built. About 2 days later shop.ford updated and said the In Production date was 1/6 and the Build date was 1/14. Then a Ford email on 1/17 informed me that my MME had shipped. I think a day or two later the little circle under the Shipped label of the shop.ford site changed from solid white to partially filled (but not a check mark).
No notable shop.ford updates or emails had arrived since 1/17. Not that I'm anxious or excited but ... I asked my dealer today to run a VVR. My GT is indeed on a train in Mexico; it's been logged as passing through a northern Mexican train depot. Of note: shop.ford has no date associated with the Shipped bullet on the graphic timeline. Maybe that will update (insert a date and put a checkmark in the circle) this weekend.
The Ford "shipped" email gave a delivery est. between 2/19 and 2/25. I have confirmed that I have a palsapp Freight Bill # and I'll watch that over the next few weeks. When it pops in palsapp the destination should be somewhere towards the east coast, the ultimate destination is the Mid-Atlantic/Richmond area.
The point of this info? 1 - That not all of the early 2022 MMEs are going into chip hold (some of the cars have done so) .. at least not my GT. 2 - Ford is sending out update/progress emails relatively quickly after major production events have happened, say about 3-4 days after the event. 3 - The shop.ford site updates about 2-3 days after Ford sends out an update email.
It looks like I might receive one of the earliest production 2022 MME GTs.
