I just got a notification that my “request to activate was denied by the primary user” Has that happened to anyone else?!

Afraid to activate the car. Don’t want to prematurely activate any subscription services.

Lol I expect that was Maria or Jose doing what their boss said to do when presented with an Activate message on the vehicle's screen while driving your car. Could be considered good news because it means somebody moved your car (instead of it just sitting there).

I just read that happened to someone else and their status changed from in production limbo to shipped the next day, so here’s hoping

Agree. I pushed the activate button when it first popped up and got this message what feels like three weeks ago. I "activated" it again shortly after and it has just been waiting ever since. Can't help but feel like someone denied it as they moved it to whatever parking spot it was going to live in for the next 3 weeks to 3 months while I wait for a chip and my LVB to slowly die.

You should not be requesting to activate period. Been proven on multiple threads that activation will cause your three year blue cruise and/or 3 year maps subscription to start while you do not have ownership of the car.

Called Ford Marketing again today. This time they told me that VVR is showing chip hold with same delivery date of 2/25, Why do I think that isn't going to happen in February??

Thanks for the image note. The image is dated 3/29/2019. (This plant was making Fiestas at that time. Began MME builds in Nov 2019, I think. The most recent image on Google Earth is dated 4/9/2020 and shows empty lots, like plant was shut down.) Yes, it would be nice to get a set of current images, or assembly plant live feeds, or ANYTHING to help us understand what's going on at the MME assembly plant in Cuautitlan. The rail transfer point in Kansas City would be nice too, but is there a blizzard there?

My palsapp updated this morning, my vehicle (shipped 1/17) is now in Kansas City.

The delays are ugly. I've already watched every YouTube video on this car, including the poorly made ones. And I check the job listings for planta Ford Cuautitlan just to see if there are indications of staffing trouble (I've noticed an uptick in their hiring of warranty repair case managers, which is normal as the number of cars in the wild (slowly) increases).

Just need to know exact point of time when to order tuxmat and screen protector.......
Frankly this adventure of waiting your overpriced electric car is exciting........ I'm a little sad that mine gets much more trivial then others.......

The subscriptions provide free updates to the GPS and Blue Cruise. They are not auto pay. Meaning at the three year mark, you will be notified if you want more updates, you have to pay for them, or use a different provider like Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.

So, interesting.... my arrival date has been accelerate by Ford from Feb 22nd to Feb 6th. Will see if that date holds up, but pretty excited about getting my MachE next week if it's true!!!

Palsapp doesn't show anything so who knows....
