Sorry to hear that this thread is still active. We've put over 2000 miles on the MME already and enjoying it still everyday. Favorite feature is hands-free blue cruise. You can stretch, eat breakfast, or whatever as long as the eyes are on the road. It is an awesome feature if your commute involves long stretches of highways. My wife even said she's not sure she will give me back my mach e when her taycan CT arrives, because it doesn't have hands-free driving. Hang in there, everyone. It is worth the wait.

I'm even sorrier...or, sadder...that our 12/6 build crew thread is still active, waiting for those brand-new 2021 Mach-E's to show up.

But we're getting close.

I believe that some in this group have been waiting a year or longer since ordering. I initially ordered over nine months ago and am still on chip hold.

I wrote Ford customer service - as I am sure many of us have - and thought I'd share my comments with you all.

"As I initially implied, it is disheartening to observe others with much later build dates move to a 'built' status or even get delivery while mine seems stuck "in production".
I just REALLY want you to do what you can to get Ford manufacturing to make sure Mexico is NOT ignoring those who were first put into the chip hold group. The perception is that Ford Mexico is processing these cars as if we were parked in a lot outside in the very back and they are working on everything parked in front of us first, along with all the new ones - so they are very slowly getting to those in the back.
It isn't just about me, but about all of us in the initial 2022 batches who got stuck at the back of the parking lot."

it mentions toward the bottom that the Premium 22's will have a special sound system and the power lift gate. I wonder if anyone that has received a 22 Premium got these?

This is nothing new for the Premium. The 2021s already had it.

I know I just hope all these changes are true. same with you no email from ford but I see a change in Ford.com under reservations. still doesn't say shipped.....

Just took delivery on our 2022 Premium, ER, RW which has the B&O, 10 speaker sound system, and a power lift gate. Not hands free (which is fine with me) but it is power

At this point, as my order still sits on in production with no estimated date of delivery of any sort, it is easier for me to believe this car doesn’t actually exist and this forum is fake and just part of a way too elaborate plot to scam me out of the online order deposit. Because that makes more sense then how long this process has been. My enthusiasm for this new car has been thoroughly killed.

If you really want to get depressed, look at build weeks in late January or February, lots of those cars are being delivered....Not sure when you ordered or if you were a rollover.. Sometimes the it's built, its on chip hold, its built, on chip hold is an emotional roller coaster.
