Hey everyone! I am a bit late to the party and just scrolled through the previous 25 pages. Lots of good information in there. I am trying to use the https://www.motorcraftservice.com website and downloaded the document... but it will not open on my computer (a Mac - seems to be for Android devices???). Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Side note: This window sticker is quite the chore to decipher.

Use a text editor to open it. It’s just an xml file.

Welcome! I can replicate on my Mac later to try, but can you try opening it on any form of a notepad or word document processor etc?

I never get it to open on a mobile device tbh; I have android.

You can open up the .ab file with text edit, but it is just a text file that is essentially a repeat of the long list of modules that is shown below (just a partial screen share as this is 1002 lines for my car).

What does it mean if there are blank spots (instructions?) for some of the modules?

Make sure you look closely at 6F0-02-03. If the value is 3392, then... that's as meaningless to you as any other value.

My rims arrived tonight

not mine. (global parts supply issue. Even the supply of pixels is delayed)

The recent shipment of pixels has arrived! My car for the first time has rims! (probably in real life too as it started production on January 15th).

What I found is it is a binary. I went from no modules to 1004 modules and as far as I can tell the modules are fully populated (I assume the battery was connected after the car's electronics were complete). As I noted earlier, based on random checks of 2021's on dealer lots, the number of modules of 2021's ranges from 952 to 1784 modules. From what I can tell on Premium and GT models at least, there are two additional modules over an identically configured 2021 vs 2022. All other modules appear in both models.

Not that I have any clue what these modules do or what the code is for the address or instructions (column header names that I assume is a hex code), but the two modules that show up on a 2022 that as far as I can tell are not present on a identical 2021 are:
