If you have a 14-50 already you can likely get a 14-50 to 6-20 adaptor for less than wiring a 20A outlet. That's what I did since I don't need to charge at the same time as flash updates in FDRS.
Ok, let's be honest. All you really need is this:

We aren't going to be pulling over 15 amps. Most people I know just use the adapter and have never tripped a breaker.

There should be another big update for job2 vehicles later this week (maybe?) that I'm sure will make a few people happy, not HVBJB related as well.
I predicted a SYNC update would come last Wednesday so I would be stuck just reading about it for three weeks.

Good point. I have a 6-50R, but an adaptor would work there too. Might be cheaper to rewire though, since the outlet I have in mind is 2” below the panel. 😊🐩

Anybody get this to work yet, or is the "Data unavailable for this application" error still showing up?

I tried an hour ago and still got the "data issue" popup. I figured if it was just me someone who updated would have said something, so it must be across the board.

Yes, at least one dealer has seen it too. Click the mail button (send feedback) in FDRS and report it if you didn't already.

It's not IPC or ABS though!

Exactly what I did and it works great!

So I guess no update has ever reached Gold? :)
