As an update, got the call from the dealer on Sept 12 that the car arrives but needed recall fixed. Got the call yesterday, Sept 23, that the part arrived and was installed and all things ready to go. Going to pick up on Monday.

Good for you man. Still waiting for mine to get fixed. Car arrived sept 9 and still no replacement part for the shaft.

Looks like they're finally rolling in! This production week especially for California deliveries appear to be the worse weeks of them all.

It’s finally here! Ford store Morgan hill is fantastic. X plan, price protection rebate, and ford options w rates and options from order date with zero issues.

Got her today! LHM Super Ford in Salt Lake City was awesome. No add ons at all, did most of the paperwork from home beforehand.

This really sucks. I just found out from Ford Chat/Marketing that my car to be delivered within the next few days has been pushed 6 weeks.

This came from the dealer;


It does look like it will be delayed one month.

I am debating after 11 months of waiting to just cancel the order.

You’ll need a pin provided by Ford which you only get through your company. You’ll also need to supply proof you work for the given company so I don’t think you’ll have any luck getting around that.

Price protection is referring to getting the original MSRP from when you ordered compared to current (sticker) MSRP. If you are the original person who ordered you are entitled to original price and in some cases it is coming as a check issued to you sometime after purchase.

You can join Mustang Club of America and get a Pin document, but have to wait 90 days to have it be valid. Cost is $25 for a year.

That’s entirely up to the dealer. You generally don’t need to provide them anything at the time of the order however they do not have to accept x plan from anyone. Best bet is to email your sales rep and ask them if they accept x plan.

My Mach-E finally made it to NY (40 days 'in transit')! It looks like Buffalo is an automotive distribution facility for Norfolk Southern, so it will probably hitch a truck ride east—only 150 miles left to go. I can't believe it's finally in the right state and that it might still be here by October within the *updated* delivery window.

Actually it was in KC since 9/05 then sent back 9/25.
