$100 Early Adopter Incentive Cancelled?

So my dealer just told me the following today when I asked him to check on the $100 early adopter incentive:

"The $100 rebate is showing now but Ford is cancelling this program Feb 12th

Date	Feb-12-2021
Cancellation	Ford Division is cancelling this incentive effective February 12, 2021.
Replaces	This Announcement Replaces FDCI-25522C
Overview	Ford Division is announcing 2021 Mach-E Drive Assist Spec. Package Retail Customer Cash, effective January 5, 2021.
Program Number(s)	#13888 - 2021 Mach-E Drive Assist Spec. Package Retail Customer Cash

This sounded a little strange as the announcement says it replaced FDCI-25522C but I thought the number was EFC08670? Anyone else hearing the same thing?

I believe @hybrid2bev indicated that as of today they were changing it to include options and RCL as well. So I am assuming they will issue this under a different number?

But if they cancel this - thats a short life - not sure why they would do that

It's a lot of trouble for $100. Probably better to cancel it and then give the first batch of people a $100 discount when the software is released.

I just went to the partner website and everything is updated. I'm on my way over to the dealership to make my purchase!

You get the $100 ADA bonus customer cash regardless of how or if you finance the vehicle (Cash/Options/RCL/APR programs).

Taking this bonus cash does not obligate you to purchase the driver assist feature later.

When do you get this $100? I signed the paper, but the dealer told me that I'd get a check directly from Ford on it. I didn't think this was right, but I wasn't going to stop everything over $100. How have others actually gotten the $100?

It should have come off as a down-payment/cash on your purchase.

Thats what I thought, but the finance guy said "We can't just give you $100 out of our pocket, This comes from Ford"

The incentive for Options doesn’t come out of their pocket. They apply for a credit from Ford. They will/should do the same for this $100.

Has anybody gotten this $100 off recently?

I'm going to purchase my FE this Friday and I'm uncertain whether I should bring this up.
