10000 mi service completed

Was in MD recently and decided to get the 10000 mi service completed a bit early. Easily scheduled the apt online at Len Stoler Ford in Owings Mills. Took about an hour, longer than I expected but not terrible.

Clean bill of health and only cost me $23.79

Rotated tires and inspected fluids and measured brake pads. There's really not much to do.

Honestly, if you have jack and stands you can do it yourself in about the same time frame they did.

Just had mine completed as well. Turns out I need a new front left axle. Apparently only 3-5 days to get in, not too bad.

Honestly, This right here is why its a good idea to continue to do these inspections. That is really awesome they caught that and you didn't have a bigger issue later.

I like my dealer so I would love to give them credit. Perhaps I should have tested them to see if they caught it. I asked them to look at the clunking noise from the front while it was in. They did find it straightaway though.

I'm wondering HOW they caught that?
i.e. if the Owner had not reported any bad sounds, and tire wear was ok, how woul you know?

I did not use any FordPass points for the service. $23 out the door

Exactly. I spent 45min at the dealer for this. I'm sure they weren't looking at my car that whole time. This can be easily done at home but I was fine with the bill. I was out of town when it was done too, not at my local Ford dealer.

I think they rip you off. according to my dealer, The 10k package they tried to sell me includes oil change, I would go back and demand that he do that....you don't want your electric motor seizing up.
