My wife got me a 16 amp lvl 1 charger to replace the 12 amp Ford charger but doesn't appear to be charging any faster? Still steadily adding 1.3 kw a hour and not 1.7.

Does the EVSE have a screen on it so you can see what amperage it's providing? Honestly, the difference doesn't amount to much at 120V. Can you get a 240V outlet installed?

Sadly no it doesn't and where the breaker is I'd have to 130-150 feet or so. I know 240 is the way to go when possible and even 120 at 12 amps is enough for me but being able to 30% quicker at 16 amps would just give more cushion in the winter. Tried redoing my saved location. But if it was charging at 1.7kw (1.9) it should have put in 22kw in 13 hours.

Unfortunately, the statistics in FordPass really aren't accurate enough to rely on, especially when you're tying to measure differences this small. If you have an OBDII adapter, you could use Car Scanner to see how much power the car is taking in. Or if you have a Kill-A-Watt type meter, you could plug the EVSE into that.

It's interesting that the Lectron EVSE's rating is at 110V, not 120V.

I suggest you charge to 75% on a fast charger and then top it off on your 16A EVSE. The 16A is soooooo sloooow.

That certainly isn't a cost effective way to do it.
