2:1 km drop ratio

Does anybody experienced dip in km while driving. For example, the distance from home to office is 26km but my Mach e4 drops to 50km. Just to let you know that, I was driving at normal conditions with no AC, heating, and temperature is around 10C. It is so annoying to see 2:1 ratio is drop in km while driving. Actually sometimes it is 5:1.
