2.4.1 power up - what for? this function was there before

Did we ever find out what module(s) it targeted? The only other update that I recall anyone noticing is that the driver assistance audio feedback changed to match the job 2 cars. But I don't remember which of the 5,000 threads it was on at this point ?. Since I'm not in EA I can't verify that
