For those of you trying to explain the power of an AWD Select/Premium (not GT) it’s somewhat akin to a 60’s big block station wagon with a 2 barrel carb. Say a 390-460.. all grunt but limited top end. I’ve concluded that the Mach E was geared/“tuned” for the 0-80 mph range but above 80, well really.. who cares? Halo car owners maybe. In a decade the average could be 400 tq/400 hp.. or 600 tq/600 hp. Or 700 tq/700 hp. Digitally controlled suspension turn nearly every BEV into a performance vehicle and performance beyond any average or tuned performance ICE. But I digress.

Actually the kick in the back is a consequence of Newton's first law of movement -an object continues to maintain its state of rest or motion unless or until it is acted upon by an external force. The Mach E is the one applying the external force to your back and naturally that force is a consequence of the torque provided by the motor.
Actually, it's a consequence of acceleration. Newton's Laws of Motion merely provide a (partial) explanation of the phenomenon. They do not cause it.
