A year since I became the owner of MME. The story started earlier in march 2021 when I first saw MME in a dealer parking lot. From the first moment, I fall in love with this car and decided I will sell my GL550 and buy Mach-E. Almost took me 3 months to sell the GL and at this time dealers started to charge crazy markups and have limited inventory. Only one way to buy MME was to place an order. 6 months later in December 2021, I received a call from dealer that my MME Premium was delivered and ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, my experience with the dealer was a nightmare. The car was not ready for pickup. It was dirty outside and inside, and I noticed that the trunk door was misaligned. I never thought the car like this can be delivered to the customer. The purchase process was even worse. In total they included nearly $7k for junk add-ons and warranties. Next day I came back to speak with the general manager about the final numbers issue and he agreed it was their mistake and luckily money was refunded immediately. Unfortunately, my problems with this Premium have only just begun. Soon I realized that this car had many issues from the factory and after months and a few attempts to fix it I ended up in the Lemon Law process which also took nearly 4 months to be closed.
Finally, in July 2022 I picked up a replacement car 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT. Is this a perfect car? …. No. But pretty much close to it. I love this car! With the help of the forum, I made a few modifications that make this car ideal for me.

Finally, in July 2022 I picked up a replacement car 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT. Is this a perfect car? …. No. But pretty much close to it. I love this car! With the help of the forum, I made a few modifications that make this car ideal for me.
Was done:
- Dashcam (front and rear camera). Later, a custom button was added to disable the parking mode when the car is in the garage.
- Xpel PPF was installed on the headlights, front grill, door edges, main and instrumental screen.
- Side badges removed. Without them much easier to wash the car and looks better.
- “Dechromed” windows trims, wrapped with gloss black vinyl.
- Blacked out the rear end with gloss black vinyl. You can ask why? …. Unfortunately, my imagination drives me crazy and I see two mysterious creatures on the rear of my car. Blacked out rear helps me with this issue … a little bit.
- The rear lights were tinted with red film.
- The front windows were tinted to match the rear windows. I tried my best but I did a few mistakes and maybe later I will go to the professionals for a re-tinting.
- Installed bypass kit from megaohmmotorsports.
- Removed air covers, and installed aftermarket gloss black lug nuts and center cups.
- AOSK volume and shifter knob covers.
- AOSK side windows louvers V2 and rear spoiler V2.
- The rear wiper arm was removed.
- Custom license plates and frame.
- A trunk open/close physical button was installed in place of the max defrost button.
- And finally full interior and exterior detailing.
Planning:
- Convert the self-parking button to activate the camera.
- Purchase a KEY fob with a frunk button.
- Install AOSK rear mirrors covers and rear roof spoiler if found one which will match the rear spoiler V2 style. @AOSK ?
- Enable temperature display instead of a compass.
- Maybe install the spacer or wider tires.
- Something should be done with suspension. The ride quality on highways is fun and I like it, but short rides with low speeds around the neighborhood are terrible.
