What is the point of offering the CA Route 1 any longer? The previous distinctions were RWD only, no heated seats/steering wheel and no power liftgate. So now the CA R.1 has the same available options as the Premium except no power liftgate and a badge?

What is weird is it says Final 2021 orders 9/3..I ordered April 27th and was already told mine is now going to be rolled over to a 2022

Also, no idea what the KWH you guys are referring to. Does that make it faster or more mileage per charge?

More kWhr means more ranges (~2% increase). It is largely suspected that this is from unlocking more of the battery via software (less buffer) and may be available to all Mach-e owners via OTA, but that isn't confirmed.

Sounds like your production date is after the November 2022 model production start date.

Rt1 also has the more efficient 18 inch wheels.

Rt1 does not have these Premium features:
  1. Acoustic Laminate Glass – Front-Row Side Windows
  2. Ambient Lighting – Multi-Color
  3. Perforated ActiveX™ Seating Material
  4. Front Door Scuff Plates – Aluminum Inserts with Pony Graphic and Unique Lettering
  5. LED Projector headlights with LED Signature Lighting (the 3 vertical LED on the headlights and the sweeping front turn signal, Rt1 just blinks on the front)
  6. B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen® 10 Speakers including Subwoofer
  7. Head Restraints – Four-Way Manually Adjustable Driver and Front-Passenger
  8. 8-Way Power Passenger seat (Fore/Aft, Up/Down, Power Lumbar, Power Recline)
  9. Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Liftgate (includes Power Liftgate functionality)
  10. Wheels – 19" Machined-Face Aluminum with High Gloss Black-Painted Pockets

Agreed - the Rt 1 is also a few thousand $$$ less. We are ordering that because we would rather have $$ in our pocket than the extra features of the Premium. Glad to get the heated seats - one of the few features we missed by skipping the Premium.

Still can't build a 2022 online, but pricing for a Premium Extended AWD is up $2,700. On the main page it still shows the base price as $47,600 but once you build that base price jumps to $50,300. The extended AWD option is still $7,700.

91/88 = 1.034 increase, i.e 3.4%. No "~" needed. ?

If it’s really 58,000, and the 2,500 is gone, the premium is looking at close to a $5k increase. For sure, its at least a $2k increase If the online ordering is correct.

Wish Kia / Hyundai would release pricing.

Math geek emerges.... with just two significant figures stated, the increase could be as little as 90.6/88.4 = 2.5% or 91.4/87.6= 4.3%. Fairly large range possible. ~ is a fair symbol to use

Yet they’re raising the price on Premium 5.67% if the post above is true. Not happy about that at all. Should have ordered a 2021.
