2022 Mach-E ordering (hopefully) starts on September 30th. Who's ordering?

I am sure this has been answered but can't find it. I ordered Premium AWD end of April...Have heard nothing about the time frame on this from my dealer. At some point will this just turn into 2022?

Yes, this says exactly what I outlined, but used a different model year for their example:

"Under Environmental Protection Agency rules, manufacturers can introduce a next-model-year vehicle for public sale as early as January 2 of the preceding calendar year—for example, a 2018-model-year vehicle can be sold starting on January 2, 2017. Conversely, manufacturers can introduce and release a new vehicle for sale as late as December 31 of the corresponding calendar year, so a 2018-model-year vehicle could be introduced up to and including December 31, 2018. "

Bronco and Mustang leaks about new colors but none for Mach-E as far as I know. Wish the MME colors were as diverse as the ICE Mustang.

My June order is set to be built on 10/4 but the site says it's a 2021 (it has a VIN). Should I switch to a 2022 / how do I do that?!

Cancel your current order and place a new order on the 27th If you want a 22 instead of a 21. You will likely have to wait until February for delivery.

If I had an order that was going to be built soon, I'd stick with it. With the way things are now, I don't expect to get my 2022 until late March/early April.

Ironically it said nothing until today. Says estimated production 11/8/2021. So I assume that means it is a 2021 correct? This is my first new car in years no idea when the "new year" starts...I assume it starts 1/1/2022

That is interesting - I have a build date of 10/25/21 (confirmed through the detailer - showed me the paperwork), but nothing shows on the Ford site except the order confirmed date. Ford is completely inconsistent.
