I just saw a window sticker of 2023 Premium SR and it is showing 115kw max DC charging speed. I thought Premium max speed is 150kw and select is 115kw.

The ER battery is 150 kW (or a bit more) vs 115 for the smaller SR battery.

Ugh! I totally missed that when I ordered. My commute is 40 miles round trip so range isn’t a major concern, but didn’t realize I was giving up charging speed. I won’t road-trip much in this car so probably a moot point, but I was already thinking 150kw was slow compared to the competition…

20 to 80% is about the same time for either one.
That is good to know. Thank you. It was low 50s kw around 70% for select. I guess ER would be a little higher rate to compensate for the bigger size in order to accomplish the same charging time. There was a bus at the same EA station and it was charging constantly at 140kw. Based on the SOC, that Genentech bus must have 600 kwh battery. He was paying around 10 cents per kwh.

My comment applies when other variables are equivalent. Such as battery temp, condition of the charging station….etc. YMMV
