2024 rear motor?

Hello from which mme VIN did FoMoCo install the new rear motor from F160 Lightning?

2024+ Mach E’s use a Ford motor similar to the F150. The previous motor was from BorgWarner.

When did the model year 2024 start? My 2023.75 is from 31.10.23 so close to the begin to model year 24. I wonder if they ran out or the BW Motor earlier or if the Lightning motor came monts later bcause they had still bw units left. Btw i saw the Video s from Sandy munro very interesting his comments on the bw unit compared to the front unit.

Unlike most vehicles, where the model year is released in the fall off of the prior calendar year ( i.e. 2024 vehicles released in the fall of 2023), Mach e's generally don't go into production until the spring of the same year, so 2024's would be produced in the spring of 2024. The 2024's would then hit the dealerships in late spring or early summer 2024. I would say your 2023.75 has the BorgWarner rear motor.

2023’s would end production at the end of 2023, maybe in early January 2024, before the assembly lines and supply chains switch over in Feb/March for the new model year.

Hey i have a Screenshot of a 2024 usermanual beginning 18th dec 2023. That is the reason why I got confised. ( its in german but should be the same in english as it comes voa the link in the Ford pass app).

Look at your VIN. If the 10th digit is an R, it's a 2024. If it's a P it's a 2023.

Yeah. Thx i know that i have a 2023.75. I have the feeling that the change from one MY to the next ist more „fluent“ and hoping that they blend updated in at the end of the MY. Never mind.
