Is 21P22 available for build 2 cars (dealer installed) yet?
I’m mainly interested in the improvement in charging.

Does it also fix a) the exterior door lock button taking 2-20 presses? And b) the doors locking after you close one door and you’re right next to the car so you have to wait 5-10 sec before another door will unlock and open (happens about 25% of the time).

Apparently, if built before Sep. 30, there is a new thread as well as notification in the original. Still requires service visit for another reason.

Not sure if those issues are fixed.

Is before Sept 30 build 1.5?

I’m definitely squarely in the build 2 camp. My door tag says it’s an Oct 2021 build. But I thought the tracker said my car was being build Nov 2021. Either way, it’s build 2.

So, still waiting on availability of 21p22.

It's now mid-July. Any word on build 2 cars produced after Sep 2021? Ota, dealer, or owner-performed-FDRS updates?

Have no clue if this update is available for your build date as mine is an early build, but as an FYI I was having similar issues with the doors look button being utterly hopeless, along with it occasionally not letting me in.

Having had enough of it I took it to the dealers at the start of the month and they did the 21P22 update along with the 22S41 recall of course who knows if I got a real one or a placebo, however the 21P22 update did at least fix my door issues.

No, the dates have not changed. You will get the faster DC charging curve with the recall update.

If you have specific concerns (e.g. PAAK) you should reference the other service bulletins and address those with your dealer.

Oct 15, 2021 build GT-PE. I have received zero OTAs. I received the enhanced charging curve via FDRS update in April, 2022. October and later Job 2 2021 cars do not have this available via OTA unless they are in the Early Access program. Since Ford seems to be rolling it out with the 22S41 recall software, I am sure it will come OTA to non-EA cars soon. 😊🐩

Big news!!!

(I am in the Early Access program, but I don’t think that matters if they are sending the contact or recall out to everyone)

I’ve never been to the dealer and only had the OTA updates for 2.8.2, 2.8.3, and the overheating contacts recall.

well, I’m sitting here at the EA charger at 85% and getting 40kW! 🎉🎉🎉

And now at 90% getting 26kW!

That’s such an improvement over 11kW for 80-100%. Much better for road-tripping.
