Really goes to show, as others have said here on this forum, that the cars are not necessarily assembled in numerical order.

No modules for me yet either. I did chat and emailed the dealer, but both said it was in production, no build date or delivery date given.

i am also in 9217, 978/1419, but my last email from ford said i was scheduled for the week of 11/7. i guess this batch got split up?

As far as the Ford owner page, mine still says scheduled for production the week of 10/31 although no modules are showing up yet. My batch number is 346, not 246 FYI.

i wouldn't get too hung up on the build week date you were assigned at this point. right now 9217 is the first batch and ford is behind a little bit so it's a 10/31-11/7 week batch. The next two batches are smaller than this one so maybe they are hoping to catch up, or maybe they are just running out of parts.

Thanks. I'm good, wasn't really expecting to get it any time soon. It's just fun watching for status changes. It would be cool if they actually sent pictures from the production line as your car was being built. I realize logistics would be complicated, but it would certainly make for a more interactive process for excited new owners.

well the reason i was concerned about it was that my first email from ford said i was scheduled for 10/31. then a few weeks later i received an email saying that i was scheduled for the week of 11/21. then about 2 weeks after that, i got an email saying 11/7. back when they announced 10/31, i thought there might be a chance to take delivery in 2022. when it slipped to 11/21, i figured no way would i ever get the car in 2022... but 11/7, just maybe.

didn't know 9217 was the first batch of MY23. i don't have any modules yet.

does anyone in this thread know what "convoy" means as a shipping method (as noted on the window sticker)? looks like most people got put on trains and the cars spend weeks crawling to the midwest and then shipped by truck to CA. i'm wondering if they have changed the shipping method for this batch of cars.

it is fun just watch. we have no control over it at this point so that's all there is to do. so many people have been given new dates only to have them change again in those first two weeks. it will be interesting to see where it all settles out.

i don't know anything about the shipping except people on here say CA takes forever.

yeah, i've read the same about california shipping times... grasping at straws here for a shred of hope of a calendar year 2022 delivery.
