Just dropped today…

This appears to be the sequel to 24-PU0102-SVD-FX, discussed here.

What we know from the release notes…

First, it’s a background improvement, so it is not a foreground improvement.

Second, it has something to do with “Connectivity” although I’m not sure what connection. OTA? PAAK?

Third, I am fairly confident that this update is going to enhance my overall experience and help make my vehicle better over time.

Release notes are similar to a weird OTA first reported by Lightnings less than a week ago. Weird because PTA did not show any modules being updated, did not show any files being downloaded, and is the first Ford OTA I have seen that actually said wifi was required. ICE trucks first reported it today. but for the trucks it was named 23-PI1113-UNX-DC.

Oh, you got a 2-for-1. You got the one in the thread which is a GWM and the mystery no-module update which is 23-PU1113-UNX-DC.

Yep, it just installed while I was in Wally World! 2 downloaded and installed within like an hour.

Yes both installed while the car was on (I had my dog in the back while I ran into the store real quick) and not connected to WiFi

Interesting. I guess the "wifi" required are for people who have whatever connectivity issue this is supposed to address. From what I was told, it changes as-built data in the TCU.

I have the hotspot I pay for monthly if that makes a difference, but I’ve never been able to connect it to the actual car.
