I know this is probably near ideal perfect conditions in California, but @ocdxfv got 4.1 miles per KWH!

I've ordered the RWD Std Battery model and I would love to hear more accounts like this. All the review units and many peoples accounts are for the Ext Range/AWD so it would be great to hear some realistic range stories for the Select model.
This is certainly very encouraging!

278 mile range at 48 MPH is pretty damn good!
Indeed. I'm already planning to track my MPKw in 1,000 mile segments on the trip computer, with the goal of at least 4mpkw each segment. Similar to the spreadsheet I use now to track MPG, miles, and electric miles per gas tank now with my Energi.

It would be interesting to know if this guy preconditioned the cabin, while on charge, before leaving home, and if he kept climate control on while stopped for the 20 kWh fill up. Keeping the cabin at 72F while charging would certainly help his range.

Hmm 300+ mile club? Lets see 4.1 m/kWh in my CA Rt1 = 360 miles (88*4.1)

I'll take that ;)

At 60F out it doesn't really matter...Probably could have gone further simply turning the HVAC off.

I'd be perfectly happy with 3.5 mi/kwh at 65 MPH in 75 degree weather.

Haha that'd be nice. But I think the model they had (RWD, STD) is the most efficient model. The others will be less :(

Not so sure about that: There is a reason the CA Rt1 has aero wheel covers. It is the longest rated ranged Mach-E. Sure it may have a little extra weight due to the bigger battery....

Didn't he write 90% at 65 mph, so it's better then damn good . ;)

Still that only prooves that Ford's EPA numbers are correct in the ideal temp range.

It might be VERY close. I think you should put it to the test for the best mi/kwh :)

Right, but given that I'm in Michigan (and its 20F out right now) I don't expect to be seeing those kind of efficiencies for a few months yet.

I don't know if the timer keeps going when you're parked, but he drove 266 miles in 5.5 hours, which works out to 48MPH. If the timer was still going when he was charging, etc then obviously 48MPH isn't correct

Still getting used to how DRAMATICALLY wide the range is on BEV mileage. So far we've seen anything from 2.1 to 4.1 miles/kWh. Most have been toward the lower end, but it is Winter. Let's hope by Summer we're seeing mostly 3's (and even a few 4's) being reported.
