Are we able to track the rail car that is carrying our vehicle?

We’ll….I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I called the Dealer. He says all he sees is “To Storage”……. That does not instil confidence. When I asked him what that means, he replied, “Maybe Chip Hold”. So much for cruising May long weekend.Try just adding your VIN to the end of this URL -

I can't recall if the chip hold groups received emails informing them about that; its been dead silence for all of us. This sucks, I am actually down one car now and it's really getting painful. If I could, I would pay extra money to expedite shipping or hire a coyote driver to drive it across the border up to CT.Try just adding your VIN to the end of this URL -

In which system do you see that?I noticed my ordertrack updated with at least a little bit of info compared to last time I checked it. I do see a freight ID now so that's cool. Not that it means anything besides being one more thing to constantly be checking but seeing no movement![]()
In Ordertrack, the "Shipping Information" section is populated by running your VIN through Palsapp/Jack Cooper Trucking's tracking system (there are other ways to get at this info directly but Ordertrack taps into it automatically). Jack Cooper are the folks who will move your car from railyard to another in Kansas City (or deliver to dealer if in midwest). There is a Freight ID that gets assigned at some point-- it probably just means your car is in their system. In which system do you see that?
Green Window Sticker?Hi, I was provided a VIN by a dealer that I was shopping at that has a mache coming in in a month or two. The dealer asked for a deposit to secure the car so I could buy when it arrives. I promptly paid the deposit as it is a color and trim that I wanted.
However, when I view the window sticker it states "special order" at the bottom. I guess I'm wondering if this is actually someone else's car (ordered online or via the dealer) and the dealer mistakenly allowed me to place a deposit on it? Not sure there is a way to tell that or not. I will send a message to the dealer as well. If the dealer themselves ordered the car, would the sticker state "special order" ?
I posted here because the car was built on 4/12 according to the ford tracking site.
Yes,Green Window Sticker?
Most likely a canceled order. If you're getting it for msrp, you're pretty lucky.Yes,
Green
Confirmed with the dealer, it is a canceled customer order, as the person bought a different one at the same dealer that was available earlier. Most likely a canceled order. If you're getting it for msrp, you're pretty lucky.
Its troublesome that the dealer is suggesting that the 4/12 built car will arrive at the dealership in a month or ((two))Hi, I was provided a VIN by a dealer that I was shopping at that has a mache coming in in a month or two.
