Well I have had my Mach e for four months now. 5,000 miles and my wife and I have become more active without the cloud of how much gas was going to cost to go some where hanging over us. My RWD select is getting decent range and still has some power ( Can’t imagine the GT or GTPE A little jealous but I didn’t want the glass roof.).
TAXES
I got my first tax refund in years thanks to the car, so that was a big positive.
UPDATES
The car has been great with updates, only issue I have had was loosing my profile every now and then. Phone key has been working great.
BLUE CRUISE
Blue cruise is a little weird with recognizing speed limits and hands free gives up a lot on I80 and I81. I expect that will get better over time.
CHARGING
i have only paid $10 to charge so far. Capitalizing on free level 2 and home charging. (Thanks Volta)
I bought the Level2 extension cable. Cut the end off and ran it through and exterior light access hole on the garage with a big project box crimped new pins with a hydraulic crimper. Now I can charge outside if I don’t beat my wife home to the garage.
MODS
i got the rubber floor mats, (
The lighted pony, and the rear brake light pony), mud guards, and the rear window vents.
GAS SAVINGS
The 5000 mile represents a $800 savings over my Silverado and Jeep Grand Cherokee L
