This is confusing and disconcerting -- as of now, still no modules. And cars further into the batch than mine have modules? Wha?

This is how it’ll look when you have them loaded. There should be ~1000 lines give or take depending on model.

You don’t need to download the file. I downloaded a couple times and didn’t have any compatible software besides txt on my laptop.
If you change the extension to .xml instead of .ab you can view it in a browser. It still won't look like much but it will be formatted correctly.

I can't imagine a use for the file for a consumer.

Just desperate people like us trying to get an update on their vehicles.

Now imagine the possibilities. If Ford were to use that information to give us a visual map of the plant and which major subassemblies are being installed in real time. I would take the day off and have a friggin watch party!

But of course they’re having trouble following the build sequence and batching they set for themselves.

From watching these threads for over a year now (2nd go around), it seems that Ford simply makes a list of customers that meet there own internal requirements (i.e. Priority Code, Dealer priority level, Part Availability etc.). At that point you are just a sequence on a batch list. I think then they look at the options for each vehicle within that batch and group them together (regardless of sequence). I do think batch order does matter for example they will do batch 5940 prior to 5992 but that is the extent of it. I am Batch 5992 - 468/874 and can see modules. I have yet to figure our which options are grouped within the batch.

From my first Mach E I expect it to take about 1 to 2 weeks to get it on the train, and about 30 to 45 day to my dealer here in Atlanta GA.

Very helpful, thank you.

Your description seems accurate to me, except that they also violated the batch prioritization in several cases.

What accessories are y'all thinking about getting? Wondering if the paint protection package is a must. I definitely need a rack for my Thule...

I don't have modules and I'm in the same batch but 181/874.

My 4/18 build had modules on day 1..

I have a 21 space white and I did a basic ceramic coating. This time I’ll do the PPF on the front grill and around the headlights. The paint chips are crazy in just 3 months!

I also got the center console storage tray which is a must for me! I have the factory rubber mats and will add the rubber mats for the back of the rear seats.

174/874, no modules yet. I was thinking the Premium AWD ERs were getting skipped but looks like @Cobra427 got theirs. Mine is DMG FWIW
