Yesterday afternoon I got a message on the Sync screen that there was an update coming. 6.6.0 installed overnight. The 'details' screen just mentions background updates to improve the software. Anyone else get it yet?

Almost everyone got it. Look for the poll.

I just looked at the poll. I guess not everyone. 😂

Canada 2022 GTPE updated to 6.6.0 a few nights ago.
Had vehicle plugged in and charging to 80% during that time.
Update installed during the night. When i got in and turned on vehicle in the morning the update completed successfully, but i noticed the two front seat reading lights were both turned on. Manually shut them off and drove off. So far no other issues.

The last update I got was 6.1 in October. I have automatic updates on. Which ones should I have?

Failed due to low 12V battery. It was only at 65%.
And THAT'S why I recommend changing the update time to a time when you'll be driving the car...so your 12V battery is fully recharged when you park and are offered the opportunity to "Update Now".

This 0100 in the morning update nonsense was not well thought out with just a 35Ah 12V battery.

How can you see that? And the car was plugged into my charger (not fast charging) which is supposed to keep the 12V charged no?
No. It does not. It only charges the 12V battery at the same time the HV battery pack is being charged. And then it stops. There is no "trickle-charging" going on after that.

The only updates that use the schedule are ones that disable the car during update. That can’t happen while your driving.
